There is nothing that I can think of that President Bush has done for us and I am embarrassed to admit that I voted for him not once, but twice!

I have no idea who I am going to vote for this year. I am 31 years old and I can't remember a time when I've seen this country in such poor shape. Between the cost of oil/gas, the general economy, the fact that Spanish beats out English as our language etc etc etc.

Sigh...

Yes, I know it could be much worse and I am not ashamed to be an American, I support our military and pray for their safe return but really this is sad...

Default My replies in bold.

My replies in bold to these points.

- Booming economy throughout most of his term -- in fact all of it until the dems regained control of congress ;-)

The economy.... Hmm notice the national debt and value of the dollar, seems you missed those numbers. High gas prices because of nation building and OPEC and the iraq war. Thanks FED, congress and the president.

- Took the fight to al-Qaeda and severely curtailed their operations against the US - no recent planes into buildings killing 3,000 or bombs into ships killing dozens, embassies bombed throughout the planet killing hundreds with token replies.

That is great all the while you nation build and believe terrorist haven't made attempts to do it again or in other places. Any idea why they want to kill us? Meanwhile we eroded the constitution to make us "SAFE". What is alittle more liberty to be lost with the illusion of safety. Better yet any idea why we have miltary bases all over the world? Any idea why we would need to have them their and please tell me how by having them there our constitution and liberty is lost? If we leave all the countries America would be just fine as long as we follow and defend the constitution. OUR constitution. Seems the New World Order has continued.

- Pulled together a coalition of 60 countries to remove a brutal dictator from Iraq that had killed 100,000 of his own women and children, offered comfort to bin Laden, sent an assassin team to kill a US president, and was developing WMDs.

Yes I guess is about time the US government clean up it's mess. I find it funny how we wonder how he got there in the first place. What is the reason why we need to be there again. Are we protecting something? Last time I looked we only have 50 states.

- Appeared to have finally halted North Korea's nuclear weapons program - perhaps the greatest threat to millions. Ended the token US effort with real results.

Thanks to billions of US tax dollars to support communism... reagan would be proud. Are we sure they actually stopped or maybe they are just building them anyway with our money which is what usually happens.

- Kept international pressure on Iran to halt their nuclear weapons programs.

They wont stop but I guess that is what you hoping for. Right?

- Pursued elements of al-Qaeda throughout the globe.

Care to secure the our borders it has only been 7 years I guess we need to make sure more illegal immgrants can make it here easier and terrorist can bring in weapons. Guess Bush and Congress has a hard time explaining that one.

- Restored America's pride and strength - enabled French and Italian presidents to be elected on a pro-US platform.

What is a pro-US platform ... US platform use to mean Liberty and Freedom and Individual rights.. now it's World Socialism and Miltary UN power.

- Bi-partisan effort to improve education with the passage of the no child left behind act.

Aww yes the federal government running education another leftist liberal Communist, NEO-CON idea. I thought republicans were suppose to be for small government not expanding it. Oh that is right bush it's a real republican and most of congress arent real conservatives either. It least not Barry Goldwater and Reagan republicans.

- Proposed to expand SCHIP to cover needy families and children only to have Pelosi and the dems refuse to vote on it for political gamesmanship.

Socialism!!! Glad your proud of that one. I think the dems were just angry because they didn't think of it first. After all it's about the Children Right.

Perhaps they are, but that is a very small % of his overall support group.

I think you give McCain far too much credit for achievement.
