This thread is proof of how fearful people are these days. Just look at all the comments "we are finished", and people wondering if its safe to fly the flag. What a bunch of wussies.

One thing we know for sure: the Trump & Russian propaganda has worked. If you keep repeating things, people will eventually start believing it, and the fact that someone burning a flag in some corner of the nation has millions of people wondering if they are safe to fly it, shows the propaganda has worked exceptionally well.
Funny too how many of them say wearing a mask is a sign of fear that they refuse to take part in, yet they're so afraid of everything else.
With lightning crackling overhead, I was trying to quickly lower my Maryland flag in order to avoid the coming deluge. Unfortunately, the halyard got jammed in the sheave, so now I have my flag stuck 1/4 of the way down until I can get a couple of people over to help me lower, then re-raise, the flagpole.
I usually fly the Maryland flag, the current U.S. flag on national holidays, and the 15-star/15-stripe U.S. flag on Defenders Day.

I only wear a maks if a place of business requires it to give me service. I will not wear a mask out and about, in my car, walking, etc. It is POINTLESS and stupid to do that. Brainwashed little idiots walking around all alone, or driving with a mask are just laughable.

Do you know the actual reasons people wear their masks in the car?
I know that many of them are food delivery people, keeping their customers' orders safe. Others are ride share drivers, ensuring they maintain a safe environment for the people they are going to pick up.
I'm sorry you feel their consideration is somehow "stupid."
A friend told me last night she and her husband have decided not to put their big flag out near the road this 4th, as she is surrounded by democrat neighbors who were in town protesting the last two weekends.
Anyone else concerned about local democrats and anarchists targeting them on the 4th?
We will put our flag out as usual. If we don’t stand up to the anti-American anarchists trying to take over the country, then they will.....

I wish I could feel proud about my flag. I hope one day soon I will again. This year it stays in the basement and not because I’m afraid. I’m ashamed.

Is your flag a confederate flag? Because I fly the USA flag in front of my house because of Trump that he is not going to stop me from being a proud American. If your flag is a confederate flag display it inside because it is a flag of loser traitors, but if it's the USA flag whoever told you that Democrats are against it and either stupid or mentally ill.
How do you retire an old flag? (Serious question.) Is there a place you donate them to? I can’t see putting it in the trash.
