No matter it originated in China or not, it is definitely true that China is super sensitive to SARS-like diseases and may be the first to detect it, even if other places also had it already.

Wuhan is one of the biggest cities in China, and also has one of the best medical facilities.

Exactly, Chinese tourists might have gotten infected in Italy and carried the virus back to China.

A lot of people in those cities could easily have just blown it off as "the flu" since the death rate is so low. Even for some that died it would just be considered flu.
yup, we finally agree on something.

quite a few unexplained deaths with flu-like symptoms were found in VA around summer of 2019, well before traditional flu season.

1. Hong Kong
2. Macau
3. Taiwan
4. Thailand
5. Japan
6. Vietnam
7. South Korea
8. Singapore
9. USA
10. Italy

italy is #10, US is #9.

The top 8 destinations have a lot more tourists from china, it's not even close.
yet their covid situation is doing a lot better than #9 and #10. every single one of them.
