I don't think the Dems are leaving the party, but I do think enough will vote for Trump, or not vote for Biden, to make a difference in this election.
If Trump wins, I think there will be a war in the Dem party to rid itself of the extreme leftists radicals w/in the party, so they can rebuild the Democrat party brand so they can attract more independents, and stop losing moderate support.
The Dems cannot allow the radical left to bring own the whole house. I was skimming some polls about BLM, and only 33% strongly agree with the BLM movement. If one can equate "strongly agree" with willing to vote in support, then they only make up ~1/3rd of the voting Dem party.

They had their chance. There were several really good centered candidates that they basically **** on. Had they chosen them, it would be the first time since the 90's where I might consider voting Dem. There isn't a chance in hell now.

This would be the absolute best outcome of the mess we call 2020.
No, I don't know who they are. But wouldn't be surprised they're just teens looking to thrill themselves and get on the news by causing trouble. They probably can't name either one of their senators. Some of them have been getting arrested by city police. So it's, no doubt, false if anybody wrongly thinks all of them are getting by with it.
No doubt many Trump supporters hope rioting in Democrat led cities gets worse to improve chances that Trump will win in November.
The MAGA crowd doesn't even need to turn up to vote - go ahead and stay home, put your feet up.
