Constitutionally, it's the correct thing to do. The president does not hold the Power of the Purse. He cannot budget funding--it's up to Congress. So either his EO is symbolic or his truly trying on his authoritarianism. If we care about our Constitution, it can't stand.
So what's the sticking point now? Dems want the $600 ruled on through January. Repubs want less for about 2 weeks time. Or has it changed since last night?
