It does force the out of work to actually work hard at regaining employment. I hate the camel's nose in the tent that the unemployment bonus presents.

Like Obama was hauled into court, time and again? Get over yourself.

Wait, what?

So you agree that is where spending bills are supposed to originate. Yet, they aren't. Thoughts about that?

The problem is, the benefits aren’t authorized by the Employment and Training Administration. There is no system currently in place anywhere to carry out the EO, and it might take a few months to create one. The $400 is only covered 75% by the federal government, and the states would have to pick up the difference. Not to mention the fact, the EO may not even be legal, since Congress holds the purse strings of the country, and will likely be challenged in court, leading to more delay. A lot of people are going to be out in the street hungry before they ever realize a nickel from this hairbrained scheme.

More political posturing, smoke and mirrors, and outright lies from 45. No more than we expected from a desperate man.

SHHH! Don't spoil their fun. They think Big Orange actually did something right for a change.

Gonna be a political bloodbath when 30 million families are sitting on the curb and finally wake up and realize they've been hoodwinked. Again.

You really cannot make this stuff up. If they actually do it, that is.
Not necessarily the Democrats. An anti-Trump Republican or Independent filing a lawsuit would do nicely. It’s settled law.

I expect it. With the Judges Moscow Mitch has put in (Federalist members) your can expect to see them overturned.
