Technically, the Constitution does not permit the Govt to create or enforce 'drug laws' in the first place!

Folks, this is precisely the reason the 2nd amendment was put into place (for OUR BENEFIT)!! When govt attempt to create unconstitutional laws...the people are to respond in force!

-No knock warrant WAS legal.
-Cops had warrant for her BF
-Her BF opened fire on the cops
-Cops returned fire
-Breonna was caught in cross fire

There is no malicious intent from the cops and what they did was legal and within the law. There is zero ground to send these cops to prison.

They had a warrant to search HER apartment. She was a suspect in drug deals.
However, it was her new boyfriend, not the criminal boyfriend who opened fire on the cops.

Kenneth Walker, Breonna's BF, admitted of firing first in self defense.

The $12 million should settle the issue no matter what, but that "no-knock" entry seems a little crazy given the fact that people have a right to defend their home, and there is no way of knowing if the person kicking in the door is a cop or a crook. I doubt the self-defense claim works if you accidentally kill cop in that situation. Or does it?

Hopefully this makes more people ask the question, whether police should be breaking down doors over drug crimes!

Its strange when you think about it...our tough drug laws benefit the 'suppliers' (drug cartels), law enforcement also benefits, (cash and property seizures, more budget money, increase in convictions), but the users themselves do not benefit at all.

Cops did not have a warrant for her boyfriend. It was a search warrant.

One of the main duties of law enforcement is to protect citizens rights...yet, here is a case of police breaking down someones door, to conduct a search for drugs???

How in the world do they justify this to a judge, in order to get the warrant? LOL
