You truly do enjoy making incorrect statements, don't you? A great many people DO care what Trump says, even if you don't like that fact.

And, btw, I am not a Trump supporter, but I dislike reading opinions presented as facts; and I think that I have criticized as many conservatives for that reason as I have criticized liberals for that. It is just one of those things that irritate me, just like I dislike people who stereotype, and who say things like, for example, "Every liberal who lives in a major city thinks that all rural people are nothing but redneck idiots."

Thanks for that info; I did not know that!

I do think there should be some kind of national standard, though.

Did you think on election night when news media says someone has won the election was the official results? Lot of people think this that is why Trump is attempting to push a narrative that who wins on election night is the winner.

Fake thread title, based on a fake article headline. Did you even read what he said?

“Hopefully, the few states remaining that want to take a lot of time after November 3rd to count ballots, that won’t be allowed by the various courts,” Trump said at a press conference in Las Vegas.

Based on what was actually said, your pretend angst in your puerile question (bolded) is dishonest. Why does the left always have to lie?

I'm wondering how many of them subscribe to news-aggregator BusinessInsider? They link to it instead of the actual source of the news so much, it's telling me I'm out of free articles.

It appears this is based on a Daily Mail article.

It's still as you said, and not as the author nor thread starter claim.

here's a fuller quote

'We'll see what happens at the end of the day. Hopefully it won't go longer than that [Election Day]. Hopefully the few states remaining that want to take a lot of time after November 3rd to count ballots, that won't be allowed by the various courts,' Trump said.

If you support the process of democracy, then you will want to count all valid ballots submitted to the government by closing time on election day. The fact that the postal service takes days to return a delivered ballot is not the fault of the voter. In WA state, we just count all properly signed ballots post-marked on or before election day. Yes, sometimes it takes a few days to count the results for a tight race.

Trump, who knows polls are showing significantly more Democrats want to vote by mail compared to Conservatives because of Covid does not want mailed votes counted after election day even if postmarked on (or before) election day? I'm shocked I tell you.

With at least half the votes expected to be cast by mail, "it may take days, if not weeks, to count an expected record number of mail-in votes," the Brennan Center said in a recent report.

Even in a state like Florida, which can count mail-in ballots as early as 22 days before Election Day, election officials expect to be tabulating ballots after Nov. 3 due to the "time-consuming task of processing tens of thousands of ballots after 7 p.m. on Election Night.

So I guess, if he’s saying what I think he’s saying, he wants any mail in ballots not counted by midnight to be tossed—even if the ballot has been sitting there for weeks and the voter did their part to mail it in well in advance and the timing of the count is no fault of their own? That’s complete BS if that’s what he’s saying.
Most of the people who work at the polls are illiterate and don't even know to count properly, they are lazy and the big majority are affiliated to the democrat party for the socialism in America. What else can one expect from that crew that are not counting but manipulating our vote ? Every time I go to vote in person ( I do hate the absentee ballot and mail-in vote that is nothing but the prostitution of the sacred vote ) I have to deal with the same morons.
