Only a few of Trump’s nominees were unqualified according to ABA.

"This is just a suppression attempt."

Yes. Trump's and Republicans have to use this election strategy because otherwise they are sure to lose the election. Sadly, it may work because it's been strategically set up in the locations where it will make the biggest difference.

He has no need to worry. Three SCOTUS justices were involved in Gore v Bush in Florida. He appointed 2 of them.

At least the Florida governor is not the Trump's brother. IDK if Trump paid of the Florida SOS this time.

Stuff like ^ is an opinion. Opinions are not facts.

There are hundreds of thousands of polling places in the US, reportedly about 20,000 fewer than existed in 2016. While most vote in person at schools or churches, voting occurs in some museums, retail stores and even a McDonalds.

Most who work/ volunteer at polls are age 60 +.

How many of these polling places have you personally visited and imposed an on the spot literacy tests on workers and volunteers? How did that work out for you?

It’s 2020, not 1820. Machines, not humans, tabulate votes.

Actually, they haven't been.

In the recent cases the Rs have brought to them, they've been looking at the relevant state's law and rendering their opinions based on that. That's why they've been ruling agains the Rs in some cases.

Look, I dread some of the things I see coming down the pike from this SCOTUS. But I think the rights of each state to regulate their voting systems is not in danger. They're mainly going to be looking at whether the state is following its own laws. And if Congress acts on some of these questions, they will have to act within the Constitution.

You can bet that many states will be reviewing their own laws and procedures to make sure they're completely unambiguous.

I expect the courts will side with the constitutional interpretation on this. Dumbass Don's opinion doesn't matter.

Currently, we have a President the majority of voters voted against, a Senate controlled by Republicans, though a majority of voters voted for the Democrats, and a Supreme Court controlled by justices who were appointed by Presidents who the majority voted against, and confirmed by Senates that the majority did not vote for.

This is unsustainable.

Republicans have been fairly successful with suppressing the vote, gerrymandering, smearing opponents with lies, and gaming the system in general.

Without using military force to impose the will of the minority, this system is unsustainable.

Opinions are not facts.

If most voters are Democrats, how did Bush 2 get 2 terms? 63 million voted for Trump in 2016. Geography matters. How is it the Senate and House flip majorities?

I have never observed a poll worker/ volunteer with attitude. Just a thought. Have you considered that maybe, just maybe, your expectations and behaviors influence your perceptions?

Every state has been counting the votes of military members after the polls have closed for MANY YEARS. This is therefore not a new process that suddenly just happened in 2020.

Trump could care less about the military members as the counting of ALL non in-person votes is likely not in his interests. He would be more than willing to sacrifice the military for his own benefit. In his view, the military is made up of losers and suckers so they matter little.

Some states don’t even begin to verify signatures, let alone begin the tabulation process until polls close.

Reportedly, there are 20,000 fewer polling places than there were in 2016. We have all seen the press coverage of the lines and wait times for early voting. And then there’s Covid. All of this makes mail in voting a more attractive option for many people.

Some states, like Utah, have been also exclusively mail in balloting for years. The state consistently vote Republican.
