I live in the same state as you do, and I'd like to see actual data that supports your claim that "millions (of) others suffered from an increase of domestic abuse, suicide, drug overdoses, and the results of skipping routine medical screenings." That would be verified data from a reliable source for the state- not some feeling that it must be true.

There will not be a mass shutdown. No need to panic.

Liberals tend to see this from one side only, and that is that we need to lockdown to save lives. They downplay the horrific and widespread negative consequences that result in terms of mental health, physical health, economics, and yes....years of life lost due to shutdowns.

The article below provides a both a sweeping and in-depth look at the price people have paid for lockdowns.

All that sacrifice and our country has made ZERO progress in slowing the spread.

Curious if all the fear-mongering Trump supporters in this thread who were convinced Biden would somehow lock down the country if he won have enjoyed all the restrictions implemented during the Trump presidency being lifted over the past few months?

Because of the red state governors. Once they proved that suspending lockdowns and mask mandates did not result in the end of days genocide predicted by Fauci & Co, we all knew the lockdowns were going away.

Plus, as I said, once a democrat became president, and the vaccines were being distributed, suddenly crippling the economy with lockdowns no longer looked like a good idea.
