You're probably right, Gore lost Florida...twice and yet liberals still trot out the "Gore won in 2000" crap.

Respect them for knowing the real score and not just going along with whatever they get told and not bothering to educate themselves otherwise.

It's best you steer the conversation away from politics. Your making the assumption that your speaking with a rational person. You can never have a rational conversation with a irrational person. If they want to think Trump has won let them live thru their fantasy. The Biden led country will move forward regardless.

And there is your problem, OP. It's not them, it's you......

I know mostly conservatives, and every single one of them has suspicions about the validity of the vote in some states. Too many stories out there.

BUT.......once the proper actions have been taken (recounts, lawsuits, etc) and if Biden is still declared the winner, everyone intends to just go on with their lives.

I don't see why that is so hard for you to accept....? We're talking a couple more weeks at max?

Once again, I think this is more your problem than anything else....glad I'm not your friend..!

I just give them their time to vent. The way I look at it is Democrats spent the last 4 years claiming Trump is a Russian spy and stole the election in 2016, and also spent 3 years and 35 million dollars to try to get him out of office. After all that crap, I can certainly give some Republicans the same right to protest. What I have less tolerance for is Trump's lawyer claiming she has all kinds of evidence, but yet have not seen anything concrete in 2 weeks.

That's why it's an honest question.
If you value honesty, value truth, value fair elections as the bedrock of our nation, there is no way to avoid loss of respect.

It's not just a difference in judgement, it's a difference in morality.

A lot of folks just aren't willing to accept a differing opinion anymore. Are you one of them, too?

The 'facts' as presented are far too often 'facts' simply because a reporter wrote them as such. We have a news media that, without any question to a rational adult, has been 100% against Trump since before he even WAS the president. The occasions when a major outlet has been called out for making up 'facts' have been glossed over and excused my other MSM. Nobody knows what the hell to believe anymore, because no matter if you're D or R or black or white, you can find 'justification' for your opinion on the innerwebs.
