I agree with Bernie, & the latest member of the AOC socialist squad, Jamal Bowman, when they say the current system "enslaves" the 99%, and is only working well for the Elite top 1%.

.
Do you realize that "the 1%" is not a group of people but an income bracket? Also that capitalism is not a zero sum game, just because one person has millions doesn't necessarily mean that someone else gets nothing.

Are you calling my post propaganda or saying that propaganda is how you convince workers to vote against their own interest?

We are talking about social issues not national defense.

But if the citizens of this country don’t want to fund the defense budget voluntarily, I fail to see how forcing them at gunpoint to comply is morally superior.

Yep. But it's never enough for those who covet.

When someone says that you are free to engage in a social co-op by pooling your resources, you know very well what they are talking about. And it's not an aircraft carrier. But then, you are not really interested in voluntarily pooling and sharing your resources, are you? You are more interested in confiscating the resources of others. It's about punishing the success of others, not some grand co-op egalitarian dream. Because, you are free to pursue that dream voluntarily. The fact that you haven't proves your motives lie elsewhere.

Everybody knows it's not how much you gross, it's how much you take home. The rich are not hurting paying their 37% (if they even do). Why should taxes be equal when income isn't?

Federal tax law is pretty iron-clad and the rich aren't getting away with anything, given the FACT that they're WAY overpaying their share of the Federal Income Tax.

I'm happy with what I have. The rich aren't because greed has no bounds.

Yup. Everyone is free to become president or a billionaire, send our kids to ivy league schools even though they are dummies. We can all pool our money like the billionaires do and accomplish anything we desire. I wonder what is stopping us?

The solution is very easy. You and all other likeminded people pool your own money together and fund whatever initiative you want voluntarily.

There is no need to have the politicians do your job.
Then what is their job !!! They work for helping common people the opportunity to succeed, not for themselves. There is only so far I can go. I’m only asking for them to sign off on the Ok stamp to let people make their own unbiased decisions rather than being bought off by propaganda machines.
I doubt you have actually done any useful work in life. This thread shows your true colors. You are nothing more than a right wing political hack and I will NEVER EVER show an ounce of respect to you or your words !!!!!!!!!!
