Find whoever was behind this, line them up against the wall and execute them publicly. Send the proper message to whoever might want to follow their example. If they do turn out to be Muslims-feed the bodies to the hogs-oh and televise that as well.
That some pretty tough sounding talk toyman. Maybe waterboard them first to try and get some info out of them?
From what I am getting based on reports and what people in the area observed, it does seem to be a trap for law enforcement. There was an attempt to evacuate the people. Law enforcement was lured in by gunfire and found the suspicious vehicle.
Some witnesses said that initially the message to evacuate had a timeline given. Whomever did it seems to have delayed setting off the device to give people time to evacuate. This is an indicator that those responsible were watching. The device seems to have been set off when they thought people were clear.
Who were the ones injured? Were they law enforcement? Official reports are vague at the last update I read.
Could have also been a dry run to check out police protocol to do something worse while taking into account what law enforcement would be doing.
There may be something much bigger planned. Hopefully, the ones responsible are found soon.
According to local reports plus ABC's evening news, the three injured were police officers. Not much info - yet - re the identity of the deceased individual found, but I would assume he or she was not a police officer.
While the buildings in the area are standing - mostly - they appear to have suffered considerable damage to their exteriors. Many are historic, Victorian-era structures well over 100 years old. Let's hope the construction methods of that time mean these historic buildings can be saved and restored.
This can't be a leftist attack. Antifa, BLM, etc. do not drive RV's. Not an Islamic terrorist, they would aim for civilian casualties. This looks like a right wing extremist who copied Timothy McVeigh's style. I'm sure the far right is spinning all kinds of conspiracy theories right now, "deep state," "false flag," etc.
Good point-a little strategically placed electricity might help too.
Speaking of electricity - a more user-friendly kind - were others surprised that much of the power in the area stayed on after the blast? Eerie to see street lights and Christmas lights twinkling merrily away right next to such destruction.
Perhaps electric lines are underground in downtown Nashville - can't remember but have previously had no reason to note the lines' locations.

Too soon to tell or point fingers, other than to state or agree that ALL violent destruction of this kind is wrong, regardless of the instigators' identity or "cause"
Several reporters have indicated there is a good chance the camper van was rented - but it was an older model, so unlikely to be a rental, countered others. I don't know that its use is sufficient to rule out any political leanings of its driver- more likely it was acquired specifically for this dire purpose rather than to assist its owner to commune with nature while not exactly roughing it.
In any case, even the tiniest scraps of the van and any other evidence will be collected and minutely examined by FBI and ATF specialists in search of clues. It's likely to be several weeks before property owners of the damaged buildings (and businesses they housed) are allowed in to assess the damage. I hope someone can throw a few tarps over damaged roofs and board up shattered windows sooner - but doubt it can happen.

Just read that they found human remains. I doubt it was the bomber. There was too much planning done here.
The theory that the gunshots were also taped, as apparently was the "warning", is being floated around. It is on several tapes, and there are plenty of locals who heard it and called 911, so it should be cleared up fairly quickly as to whether the shots were real or recorded.
I'm sure they have run the plates and know if the camper was stolen. I also imagine they have viewed security camera footage and have a good idea if it was one person or more. So much they can't tell us yet. My guess it was a domestic, non Christian weirdo that had no respect of historical buildings yet didn't want to hurt the general public and hated AT&T. That's my speculation.
