You claim to be a highly-principled and morally superior Canadian, yet despite your self-professed extremely strong morals and your many misgivings of America and it’s citizens you still come here yearly to vacation anyway. You do this whilst simultaneously soapboxing and speaking down to Americans about historical events that occurred here long before any of us were born. And despite your claim of fair criticism, you are never to be seen in your own country’s forum here, discussing its own problems.

You are a pretzel of contradiction and confrontation, serving zero purpose but to antagonize American citizens here. I’ll call you out for this fact every time I have the opportunity.

I think that we all should be grateful that that individual can't vote here. I just wish that these foreigners would mind their own business and stick to affairs within their own country. I put that individual on my ignore list as I refuse to argue with them. They're just not worth a second of my time.

In other words, you don't like facts been presented to you? I don't speculate about issues, and the fact they are uncomfortable to you, should perhaps be a signal that I am right.

In Canada, I can legitimately take part in the political process, unlike in the USA. I am well versed in how to do that, having appeared before both House and Senate committees nationally, and have had many direct meetings with cabinet and other elected officials at the provincial level. In the US, I am effectively restricted to hoping to discuss issues with the local council and mayor, and thankfully, they are open to listening. They don't have to, as I can't vote for them. Perhaps it helps it is a smaller city, and they see municipal concerns as everyone's, not just citizens.

The place I pay more taxes IS my business. I just can't vote.

Good for you. I listen to 80s music on the radio but neither of these have anything to do with the topic.

If the liberal media would stop spewing hate 24/7 the US and world would be in a better place.

Proof? See pro Trump rally in D.C.

Pretty difficult to separate the wheat from the chaff, isn't it, with those MAGA hat wearers.
People coming to vacation here in any large city a few months ago had little chance of seeing any of the above you type about. Yet, EVERY big city had protests, riots and lootings for all to see. BLM and antifa were everywhere.

The conservative media is as much to blame as well. Hannity, Limbaugh, Savage, they are much to blame as well.

Next time you should voice your negative view of US to a CBP officer when are seeking admission to enter the US at POE.

I agree. I’d love to see Facebook and Twitter gotten rid of.

Forums like this one can also be divisive, but at least our posts aren’t “shared” where they spread like wildfire.
