He would have won easily with a push to sign voter ID into law in the first half of his term (when he had the votes).

Trump could have "won" the election if he would have followed his own rhetoric and seized the ballots in the swing states when he gave his "victory" speech in the early AM hours after the election. It would have caused a huge uproar, but he would have had the backing of the Republican party and the Supreme Court to fend off challenges.

He could have brought in his people to "audit" the ballots and to systematically discard mail-in ballots to ensure he had a winning margin.

He blew it.

Or he could have just shut his mouth for a month or two and stayed off twitter.

Most educated suburbanites didn't vote for him in 2016. He would not have increased votes from the group.

What cost Trump the election was turnout from Millenials and zoomers who were influenced by social media.

Trump owns certain suburbs.

The wealthiest areas of Charlotte and Raleigh had Trump signs all over the place.

And usually, the more money you make the more likely you will vote republican.

Which also means the more educated you are

Not true, though.

Those with college degrees and make six figures working in fields like IT, Finance, Law, Healthcare, etc.. usually vote democrat.

Those in non-union labor fields such as carpentry, welding, plumbing, truck driving, etc... and make six figures usually vote republican.

Cancelling of student debt, along with free college, is big on the agenda of the Sanders followers. How many votes would that have translated to? 5 million?

Before the Bernie crowd storms the Capital, they're going to wait and see what gifts Biden is going to give them in return for their votes. I hear the $10k figure of slashing student debt, with restrictions. I don't think this is going to sail with the Bernie crowd, which are going to be even powerful in the next election as they're not going away anytime soon.

So what do you think? Canceling/Slashing Student Debt would have helped save him?

And please, let's leave conspiracy theories and voter fraud out of this thread!
No, that wouldn’t work. It would only work if trump had been a decent man that people could believe in. His petty divisiveness, ogre-like behavior and avoidance of the Covid crisis are what did him in.
