Yep, we're past the election and the certification of the electoral college. It's now safe to publish all these stories.
The same article cites other studies showing lockdowns have saved millions of lives

We expect perfection from them, and they're only human.
Again, you're using a philosophical argument rooted in absolutism without addressing the questions. I mean, you're free to do so without me in it.

Same people complaining about "lockdowns" are the same people who can't be bothered to wear masks or social distance, that's why

We could have been done a whole lot quicker, but nooo I just have to see Grandma for Xmas

The left has no shame, but anyone with a brain already knows this. They used a pandemic to their advantage to destroy the economy while Trump was in office because that was Trumps biggest accomplishment amongst many. Within a week or two we're going to start hearing all about COVID survival rates instead of COVID death rates. The sun is going to suddenly come out and we will be hearing about all the progress our new president is making as we battle this horrible disease.

Political games at the expense of the people's lives and livelihoods.
We are nothing but pawns in a political chess game being played in DC.

It truly is enlightening to see all the people who comment without reading the articles

Lockdowns were not ultimately about the corona virus.

It is about increasing government control, stripping of individual of liberties and transfer of wealth from small businesses to huge multi-national corporations.

Restrictions were lifted here in Austin when the first wave died down. Places that had been closed were reopened with capacity restrictions.

We're now facing those same harsher restrictions as before, as our hospitals fill to capacity and elective surgeries are all cancelled.

The point is, there were MANY who didn't follow any restrictions at all, and went about gathering in groups as always.

Poorly enforced lockdowns seem to have negligible effect on slowing down spread of Covid.

This came as a surprise to noone.

Experts were saying in Feb 2020, noone else in the world can do a lockdown like the Chinese. And now we all have the data to show they were right.
