Take note I said to the gallon of DIESEL....

I run my truck on a blend of WVO(Waste Vegetable Oil) and diesel...

My truck gets 20mpg...city,highway,fully loaded, empty, makes no difference.

Now mind you this is a 4wd,5speed,diesel with oversized tires and a lifted.

Volvo XC90 Mid 20's (we have 2)

Tows the boat and trailer very well

Airplane gets a little better on the fuel consumption end though

Yes, I noticed the diesel, and you are the exception to the rule. Now, I want all these SUV drivers to chime in with their MPG. We are talking about oil, after all.

Why don't you like "big" cars?

Personally, in addition to the 2 Volvo XC90's, we also have a Lincoln Towncar. Most comfortable ride there is!

You sound very bitter. Perhaps its compensation for your own failures and you use your bitterness to as a way to blame others for your lot in life.

No, this is not a democracy, it's a republic (but this is a topic for another place). Regardless, no matter what you may think, other people going against your most exhalted wishes and driving SUVs is perfectly legal and doesn't "AFFECT you" unless you let it. Now grow up, get a life, stop blaming other people for your problems, and learn that me or anyone else driving an SUV doesn't affect your life. And if you or others like you try, or advocate, taking away my rights then you are most definitely going to hear about it.

What do you think diesel is...

My wife drives a SUV, it gets 15/21mpg...4wd,5 passenger and shaped like an aerodynamic brick.

Hah, hah. I'm doing just fine. Great career, nice apartment in a wonderful area of the city, great girlfriend, and shock or all shock, I don't even own a car.

My concern is primarily people who pollute our environment, waste our resources, and perpetuate our disastrous foreign policy through their own habits. My other concern is that morons who live way out in the burbs and drive the huge SUV are now looking to the government to essentially bail them out from their short-sighted and stupid choices.
