However you want to interpret it, any citizen murdered by an illegal alien is a citizen that wouldn't have been murdered, had we just enforced our immigration laws.

The problem of course is pretty much the same as with illegal aliens. We have no good way to identify and deal with probable murderers. Same is true of illegal aliens.
