I don't know how this country got so many people willing to put form over substance.

I enjoyed every one of Trumps tweets.. had he done speeches like this he would have been just another corrupt politician with a speech writer.

Sounds to me like he is saying that their criticism of his handling of the virus is a hoax.

Meaning, that he thinks he is handling the virus well, and the democrats want to convince everyone that he is handling it poorly.

I think anyone who reads this honestly, without politics and party in mind, will read it the same way.

My wife saw it and said he should have done it earlier and would have been reelected. I told her they wouldn't show it.

"This" is their criticism of his handling of the virus.

You want him to have called the virus a hoax. And this is as close as you are going to get, so you will take it, and you are not going to let go.

He didn't call it a hoax. He called the Democrats a hoax.

I can't stand Trump and I believe there is a mountain of evidence pointing to his mishandling of COVID-19 that costs thousands of lives. However, he did not call COVID-19 a hoax.
