Not to be snide, but Biden's camp DID promise that Covid would be over and done once he came into office. I (obviously) knew it was just campaign BS, but a lot of gullible people believed him. This was NOT an issue to lie about.

Plenty thought the virus was spreading because of Trump and whatever he was doing. Many voted for Biden because of that
