No, frozen wind turbines didn't cause Texas blackouts (illegal, lawyer, Brown)

Whelp, maybe a few more Texans will opt to have a stand by generator? I haven't lived without one since 1992. I had a ground source heat pump that was efficient as the day is long. I also had a huge Garland stove. 1 large refrigerator and an upright freezer. No way did I trust all that food to the system. I also had solar 12 solar panels.
Texans need to learn a little self dependency. If you live in a big city and have nowhere to put a standby? That's your own fault. You get what you accept.
Lots of emojis in your post and some misinformation.
At this time of year, power plants that run on coal or natural gas often shut down for planned maintenance ahead of the summer cooling season. That means we have less capacity available than usual right now.Has nothing to do with plants closing because of green energy.
You made it up.
The last time I check, Texas are closing down some power plants because they go green. Ok, some power plants may shut down for planned maintenance, but some are closed.
If we didn't have so many people immigrating to places like Texas the last 15 years the grid likely would've had enough capacity in its currently reduced output state lol.

Nope that is not what anybody is saying -- that is not the bottom line.
Bottom line -- the rolling outtages are because of some plants being closed for maintenance & the surge in demand that was not anticipated. AND problem with the equipment in Texas.......
Officials for the Electric Reliability Council of Texas, or ERCOT, which manages most of Texas’ grid, said that the primarily cause of the outages on Tuesday appeared to be the state’s natural gas providers. Many are not designed to withstand such low temperatures on equipment or during production.
You can make up your own excuses but......the folks running the grid don't seem to agree with you.

Did those guys approve the wind turbines to replace the 'dirty' energy???
BTW, we need the data to show all the equipements (coal, ng, wind turbines) normal output at this month? If wind turbines are only 5%, ERCOT has a point. If it closes to 20%, it is a different story. It is because the plants are shut down for planned maintenance. So, there is a back up plan. What is the backup plan?

ERCOT, a nonprofit that manages the grid used by about 90% of the state...

And upon learning that about a third of ERCOT’s board members live outside of Texas, as first reported by Texas Monthly, lawmakers from both parties demanded residency requirements be addressed during the current legislative session.

No we don't need all that data.
They told you right there the equipment froze -- read the article.
There is nothing to suggest it has anything to do with the wind turbines.
