It wouldn't have resulted in the massive failure.

You blamed it all on the green energies and it wasn't the green energy.

It was poor planning.

Well... no argument from me

We had similar brownouts 10 years ago due to being just as unprepared. The situation was assessed and cited and Texas made no progress. Increased immigration could have possibly made things worse, but this is a result of Texas not weatherizing their power plants after the last time this happened.

Yeah notice I said since 15 years ago. Immigration is intended for billionaires to skim more off the top and that all the new people are overwhelming the current infrastructures isn't something anyone wants to spend money and effort updating.

Yes. Which means that we had 10 years of those 15 to improve our infrastructure and failed to do so... even after we knew how bad it was.

I’m not an Engineer, 2 blade and rotar Engineers looked at the ice build up and I repeated what they said.

Bottom line, it was the fact that the power plants (coal, Nuclear and .natural .gas did not Winterize as they should have. What was a recommendation will become mandatory.

ERCOT manages the Grid, not the independently owned Power Plants.

Abbott is on Hannity saying it was the wind/solar power that caused the problem because they represent 10 per cent of the grid.

Completely ignoring that the nuclear, natural gas plants failed the most because they weren't winterized,......wow --- that is some bull.

That is some scary stuff there.

We are living in a time where people don't care if it is misinformation as long as it feeds their bias. Mind boggling.

I prefer to think we had 10 years to deport illegals and reduce immigration and failed to do so even though we knew how bad we are over populating infrastructure .

No, frozen wind turbines didn't cause Texas blackouts

How many oil-fired power plants in Texas conked out in the last several days?

Most immigration into Texas was from other states. You're just ignoring the real problem that is failing infrastructure.
