Exactly. Well that starts the entire process. Break the law, avoid going in voluntarily forces the Cops to look for you which they would prefer not to do because it often puts them in danger. Mayhem ensues.

I am just sick and tired of black men being shot up by the police. Something needs to change between the communities and the officers so we don't have to witness this anymore. Also I support peaceful protests, but rioting is never okay and those who do need to face consequences.
Yes, something needs to change in those communities. Quit being violent and breaking the law. It’s not that hard.
Ratings and politics. BLM got traction because Trump was in office and the shootings were played up to attack politically.
Now don't get me wrong, there are abusive shootings and I agree there needs to be some reform but many of these shootings are in democratically controlled areas and so they have to pass the buck to someone and it sure wasn't going to be Obama.
All of us are being played by alot of these thugs that have run ins with the cops. So many are being portrayed as little angels, that were doing nothing wrong and basically are attacked by the police. The one's jumping on the cars in this latest shooting are basically thugs themselves. Probably the majority of them have had run ins with the cops at some point.
We live in a seriously messed up country and race is being pushed into everything and anything now days. Racism exists on both levels it is not just whites towards blacks. Of course that is never mentioned.
Common sense would tell someone that when the police stop you, comply with what they say and don't resist them. The police have no idea if you have a gun, in this gun crazy society we live in.
We are very lucky in this country that anyone especially a white applicant even applies to be a Police Officer. With the level of crime in this country and again the constant push to make everything about race. Then why would anyone want to work in such a profession and be put into such situations. Although there are some people that should not be cops that is not always the case, and I don't think Police are respected in this country. Trying to do such a terrifying job with the public standing along side yelling/name calling and taking videos of the police. Making it appear the police just attack people for no reason at all. Seems to me there has been reasons the cops are called or stop people. The problems start when these people resist arrest. I really am surprised anyone would bother applying for a job as a Police Officer in this country.

A demographic cannot commit a disproportionate amount of crime in a 1st word country, and expect change. Until we blacks start respecting eachother, no one else will. Including police.
Protests happen, when protests don't work, riots happen.
Not really, riots happened at the same time to many protests, often at night while protests happen during the day.

Why are only blacks killed by police in the news?
