This is nothing new to anyone who has actually followed the science all along. Masks are nothing but theater making people feel safe. Everyone take off your bacteria trap and refuse to wear them. There is more evidence mask wearing is harming those people more than it helped with anything.
This study is even on the CDC and NIH's website. Why are those idiots not telling people this? Oh cause they would have to admit they have been wrong the entire time.
Masks are powerful placebos. They are useful for politicians to say they are "doing something"
They make some people feel good enough to go out and do things which politicians obviously know is necessary.
Obviously anyone with a brain would realize that they aren't able to stop viral transmission (it's printed on the box for crying out loud), but we all know that many people don't think logically and just do what they're told.
Then just why do I seldom see people complaining that they wore masks everywhere, including at home when friends and relatives came over for a visit, yet, they came down with COVID-19, anyway?
The flu was down because Covid measures protect you against the flu too.
And the freaking flu is far less contagious than Covid.

The serial interval for COVID-19 virus is estimated to be 5-6 days, while for influenza virus, the serial interval is 3 days. This means that influenza can spread faster than COVID-19.

Because the VAST MAJORITY of people in this country won't ever even get the virus in the first place!
So far less than 10% of the population has gotten a reported case.
Macro statistics are your friend. Also, you don't know many people comparatively to the country as a whole, so your individual observations are meaningless statistically.
Oh, this articles making it's way among the mask haters. Saw it posted yesterday on another forum I visit and some good people there thoroughly debunked most of it.
Was it as thoroughly debunked as your claim that NMnita died of COVID19?
Just look at Canada, completely lockdown in major cities, and they are thinking police road block now. Mask alone will not work, you need social distance, watching your hand, be aware.... Having said that, you need to wear a mask.
