That has been well reported for years. And not just once, and not just the United States. Think about it for a minute, it seems what ever these things are, are able to turn off and turn on specific weapon systems, at the same time leave the lights on without ever entering the building.
Yeah, I hoped they addressed this in the “closed” session.
Can you name any recent technology that matches what is described in UFO reports? We are not even close to any of the technology descriptions in UFO reports!
The real question is does one believe these UFO reports you are describing at face value?

I have never seen a UFO. I am a person who is outside a lot both day and night. I have been all over the country. Yes there are radar reports and matching eyewitness accounts of craft doing things that are way beyond our understanding. Do we have some secret program to create holographic or laser images that show up on radar and appear to be in the sky? We don't have to create an actual craft like that we need the technology to create something that appears to be real. And it would be easy to project these laser imagines to do things that appear to be impossible. And this technology is being used by our military today.
This new Navy tech aims to use lasers to fool air defense systems and missiles into thinking they see multiple aircraft or even a UAP for that matter–but the plan wasn’t to trick the world into thinking they were being visited by aliens.
A recent patent filed by the U.S. Navy meant to increase the survivability of stealth aircraft might do just that, but if the system works the way it’s supposed to, it could just as easily be used to project images into the sky that would look and act a whole lot like the strange crafts depicted in UAP footage released by the U.S. military in recent years.

Again you are believing reports of UFO sightings at face value. I question their legitimacy. Not that everyone is lying. Most are probably just mistaken. Impossible to say what someone thinks they saw 100 years ago.

Yes there might be much more advanced civilizations out there. We have only had communications that could be picked up by another intelligent civilization for barely 100 years. And 100 years does not send it that far into space. Without that how would they know we are here?
Problem is solved if they are real and make themselves known. I am totally fine believing they are real. I just need better evidence.

They are trying to muddy things up intentionally. There has been a shift from trying to disprove all UFO reports to implying there is something going on they cannot explain. They are doing that to confuse our enemies. Russia, China etc.

It's something. It's just not aliens. They're out there on various worlds (maybe many) but we will never meet them and vice versa. Only fantasy or highly theoretical/speculative physics suggests it's possible but special relativity which is our gold standard of science covering the boundary conditions of interstellar travel says that it's basically impossible. The nearest star with what appear to be habitable planets is proxima centauri 4.2LY away. With proven methods of propulsion the times are insane.
Gravity assist (proven method) - 76,000 years
Nuclear propulsion (never proven) - 1000 years
Electromagnetic drive (never proven) - 100 years ... G-Forces very high.
Fusion rockets (never proven) - 36 years. Insane G-forces and Helium would have to be mined along the way.
Laser sail with photon boost from earth - Reaches 25% of light speed in ten minutes. Acceleration of 50Gs. First you become a liquid glob against the wall and then as Gs continue to build your glob gets compressed back into a tiny solid. As if that's not enough you have no corresponding lasers on Proxima Centauri to slow you down so your little glob goes blasting past into infinity.

While I personally have no opinion on what UFOs are, this particular skeptic rationale is flawed.
You are confidently asserting what aliens cannot do based on our current capabilities. The universe is nearly 14 billion yrs old, our species is about 100-200k yrs old and our civilization is only around 10k yrs. It makes no sense to reference our current capabilities when speculating about civilizations thousands or millions of years older.
Besides if some intelligence is coming here from light years away, they arent likely doing it with chemical propulsion at all, but with the ability to manipulate gravity and space-time.
