I'm lying about this? Meh, you are. There was zero physical evidence of a lab leak up until they found lab workers who had been sick. Is it so unreasonable to remain skeptical until they showed some findings? There's been too many outrageous fake conspiracy theories already. I remain skeptical that it was a lab leak, but it is still a plausible scenario.

There was never any evidence for a zoonosis, and always circumstantial evidence for a lab leak.

For the story it was a zoonosis, someone made up a path of a bat transferring the virus to a pangolin in a wet market, then to a human in the wet market. This ignored:
  • Bats around Wuhan don't carry coronaviruses, those type bats are further south in China.
  • There were no exotic animals in the Wuhan met markets.
  • Wuhan market was not the first place of recorded infections in the Wuhan area

Meanwhile, circumstantial evidence abound it was from the lab. The mere fact this outbreak happened right next door to a virology lab that modified coronaviruses, and that this virus was over 80% identical to the original SARS-COV-1, something this lab was studying, yet that virus came from bats hundreds of miles away.

Also, technically, an accidental lab leak would not be a conspiracy theory as it doesn't entail any conspiracy.

Doctors are not the right people to ask, scientists are. All doctors do is read research done by scientists.

But common sense is now all but conclusively pointing to the lab. When did we have a zoonosis with no known animal host? Even the ones that originated in Africa, we found them, despite the area being much more wild.

Many of the docs have been in related research positions.

Both the lab and animal origins are still possible. But the recent revelation of 3 lab people being hospitalized before the outbreak forces everyone to look closer at the former.

As I've stated in other threads, military intelligence briefed last Jan/ Feb time frame that it leaked from a Wuhan lab. Love watching the media flip flop, people being call conspiracy theorists, etc, only to have it come full circle. What a joke.

millions of LWNJs would rather die than admit trump might be right about anything.
so they shrieked incessantly that it was a lie, THEN blamed their lying on trump.

You really couldn't make this s*** up.

Of course both are still possible, it's just that there is no evidence, either direct or circumstantial for animal origins. And plenty of circumstantial for a lab origin.

Even the way scientists behaved [re lab origin] by saying it was debunked, when it wasn't, is circumstantial evidence for a lab origin. Scientists who knew that it never was debunked, lied to the public, and said a lab origin was 'highly unlikely' meanwhile no host animal was found in probably the most effective surveillance state of them all.
