For this too, should not serve on a jury. Believe it or not a person can be prosecuted wrongfully.

Speculation.....but are they going for a "Little" RICO case?

Manhattan DA could pursue racketeering charge in Trump Org probe, experts say

Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance could be considering a criminal charge that former President Donald Trump’s business empire was a corrupt enterprise under a New York law resembling the federal racketeering statute known as RICO, former prosecutors and defense attorneys said.

New York’s enterprise corruption statute — which carries the potential for severe penalties — can be applied to money-making businesses alleged to have repeatedly engaged in criminal activity as a way to boost their bottom line.
Will Weisselberg flip or has he already?

Will the NY DA pursue a RICO case?

You know what...I don't care....I'm just glad Trump LOST the election and doesn't have the presidential apparatus at his disposal to jam the gears. It appears the primary question is.....Will Weisselberg flip?? RICO carries stiffer penalties including many mandatory sentences. Are they lighting a fire under Weisselberg's feet? Current status....Special Grand Jury convened....outcome unknown, but most importantly Trump is NOT president!!

I believe Weaselberg has already flipped and that that was the trigger for the grand jury. Nothing like the prospect of prison time to focus the mind.

There is that and also Trump’s tax returns and underlying tax documents were given to Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance back in March....and that could have been the trigger when those documents are seen through a prosecutors eyes.

Maybe Weaselberg was the icing on the cake. An indictment will be the whipped cream on the icing. A conviction will be the cherry on the whipped cream.

Do you honestly think he is going to be in a court anytime soon, if at all?
If he had the slightest notion he would be going to court, he certainly would no be spending millions of dollars on restoring his 757 so he can fly all over the country for his rallies.
Obviously someone in his group knows what is going on and relating it to him, else he would not be making the big plans he is.
A person facing charges, and possible jail, does not go around restoring multi million jets, and planning country wide rallies.
I know you and your tribe would like to see him in jail, but that is not realistic.

Bingo

They’re wishing and hoping like they’ve been doing for the last 4+ years. To think that a POTUS or former POTUS would ever go to jail is truly hilarious. Seriously have to wonder what because Trump did to these folks for them to have such disdain in their souls for him.

Trump was impeached just like Clinton. It will be part of their legacy. There was no win.
