One way or another, you only project your (foreign) ideas on people you don’t Know or understand. Why is so hard to get that most Palestinians want to destroy Israel? Even if a number of them don’t, it’s meaningless.
Broad based DNA studies show that virtually NO people who claim Jewish ancestry originated from the area what is Israel. Studies also show that the Palestinian people were always there, and in fact are different from Arabs.

The current Israeli Jews are settlers and invaders. The Palestinian people are and always were indigenous, and as much as people don't want to hear it, the original Jews who converted to Islam.

An inconvenient truth, but it IS the truth.

Nice deflection attempt….Weren't we discussing granting Israeli citizenship to its enemies (who aren’t interested in it, one way or another)?

We are discussing who has the right to be there. Recent settlers, or indigenous populations. The recent settlers have no connection to the land, and the indigenous populations were in fact the Jews of antiquity, or at least their DNA ancestors were.

I provided the proof.

The settlers need to give equal rights to the indigenous population they displaced, as that indigenous population has more connection to the land then the newcomers do.

‘A way to solve the conflict’. Okay, what’s the way?

Casting ALL Palestinians as dedicated to destruction of Israel is not productive. They live on most of that land (the West Bank) now. If Israel annexes it, what do you propose to do with them?

Careful in your answer. Be aware quite a few Palestinians are already Israeli citizens or permanent residents with a right to apply for citizenship. They couldn’t be wished away when Israel was formed and were in the borders when the Golan Heights was annexed. How is the population in the West Bank fundamentally different?

You obviously don’t know your history. The present day Israelis, descendants of the Canaanites, are the true original people of present day Israel.

Muslims didn’t come until centuries later.

If the Native Americans who were moved to reservations claim they can go back to their lands which are now suburban and developed, the folks that live there now should just get out?

The course Israel is on is not sustainable. They make the Palestinians victims and themselves the aggressors. They are pursing a course of apartheid.

The Israelis are using their religion as a fig leaf. They have discarded all regard for the idea of charity and caring for others.

Israelis are using Judaism as a fig leaf? How so? They’re just defending themselves against terrorists who want to destroy it.

And I thought hating Israel has nothing to do with Jews, or feeling towards them. There’s been a LOT of mention of Jews on threads having to do with Israel, so how about from this point on we make no mention of their religion at all?

Of course Israel is sustainable. There are countries where the governments use chemical weapons on their own people, and nothing happens to them. There are countries where people in one tribe walk around the streets lopping the heads off of people from another tribe with machetes, and nothing happens to them. There are countries where you get stoned to death for "allowing" a man to rape you. There are countries where it is legal to kill a person for being gay.

Israel isn't accused of anything near that bad. They will be just fine.

Again, the problem is that because of antisemitism, people think that Israel deserves treatment different from any other country. But in the end, Israel will do whatever it feels is in it's best interest, just like every other country on the planet. Israel is here to stay. Believing anything else is just an antisemite's wet dream. Magical thinking. It's something that gives them a reason for getting up in the morning. But it is nothing more than a fantasy.

Clearly, you didn't read the article that accompanies the picture.

Since every chromosome study to date has proven that Ashkenazi (European) Jews share DNA with Sephardic (Middle Eastern) Jews, that they don't share with European non-Jews, it was curious to me that you would have something stating the opposite of what every other study has shown. So I read the article.

It said that all 518 Jewish lineages (Y chromosomes) originated in the Middle East. Every other study ever done says the same thing. That Ashkenazi (white, European) Jews are descendants of the Canaanites.

I can link 100 links here to prove it, if necessary. And you cant link any to disprove it. Scientific fact is scientific fact. It is not a discussion or argument. Once something is scientifically proven, the argument it over.

That doesn't matter to people who believe that Muslim colonization should be a one-way ratchet. Some are even galled that Spain and parts of southeast Europe are no longer predominately Muslim. Just because Muslims build structures over other religions' structures doesn't mean it's right. The Al Aksa Mosque and Dome of the Rock are examples. And there was an attempt to build an Islamic Community Center at Ground Zero, for those few who remember.
