Obviously Burger King thinks they are on the winning side of the cultural revolution. And that those who wish to punish Chic Fil a will choose to go the BK to show their political support in the end.
It's basically low cost advertising. They could pay several million to run a super bowl ad or pay $250,000 to get media coverage. Assuming they get more business than boycotts, it makes solid financial sense. It's a calculated chessboard move. I guarantee you 90-95% of the population employed at any given corporation are not "woke" and the vast majority of those don't support woke causes, but media perception makes it seem like this is a huge issue. It's an issue that the upper class and elites peddle for virtue signaling, votes, donations (basically charities that pay their management ridiculous sums of money).... It's all political chess moves at the expense of the long term health of this nation supporting what is essentially communist dogma for nefarious reasons.

lol. They’re grasping at straws while Chick-fil-A lines continue to wrap around the building.
What bugged me about Burger King's publicity is that it promised to make donations or whatever "even on Sunday".
There is absolutely nothing wrong with setting aside one day a week for rest. Chick-fil-A does it on Sunday.
It hurts ALL of us when society rejects that (as Burger King did) because not having any time off at all runs us ragged. And one of the Ten Commandments says to remember the Sabbath and keep it holy- so setting aside one day a week for rest is not only good for us, but it's also a divine commandment.
So shame on Burger King for mocking a practice that's good for us and is a requirement from God.
