Chick-fil-A are in a league of their own when it comes to fast food restaurants. No matter where I go, if I find a Chick-fil-A I am guaranteed to have fast service from very polite and capable employees. I've actually commented about this many times to people. It's almost like their employees are robots or something. I have found no other fast food chain where the employees are as well trained as they are at Chick-fil-A. Either they are very selective about who they employ or they have an extremely thorough training process which insures they are absolutely ready to provide the service they are known for. No other restaurant has this going for them. You are basically rolling the dice and taking your chances when you stop at a random Burger King, McDonald's, etc. but you can generally rest assured your experience at Chick-fil-A will be a good one if you actually like their food. I could care less about their politics. The CEO of Chick-fil-A has the right to contribute to whomever he chooses just like everyone else does. If one group or another chooses to boycott them or any other restaurant for their charitable contributions, more power to them. Regardless, after hearing the call to boycott Chick-fil-A time and time again over the last few years, the company has done nothing but continue to grow. They were ranked 3rd overall in 2020 for revenue and that's pretty good considering they are the only fast food restaurant around that is only open 6 days a week. And I see no signs of any boycott stopping them. There's a line wrapped halfway around the block every time I pass one of their locations, so apparently a lot of other people don't care about their politics either.
I cant speak for where you live, but here in Alabama, Chick Fil A starts off at $9.
Also, saying you get sundays off isnt some blessing. The work week is the same amount of day, they dont get an extra day off, they simply always get sunday off
Im honestly not sure if you were joking or if you genuinely thought the company paid people for and gave them an extra day off ???????
One day in January of this year I was sitting in my car in the Food Lion parking lot near Five Points in Columbia, SC doing some trip planning.
I was facing the CFA in the lot, which had the drive thru open even with the parking lot under construction.
Their big message sign (visible across the lot) indicated that they were starting people at $12 hr.
I’m a conservative voter who supports gay marriage. But then again, I always have. I’m a native San Franciscan. I’ve lived among homosexual people my whole life. I’ve seen it all. I absolutely recognize their right to enter into monogamous marriages supported by the same laws that govern us all. *shrug*
I don’t think it admirable. I grew up with a super flaming uncle whom I adored, who owned a shop at Pier 39 with his partner. They were gay long before the Castro became a gay Mecca. They were Polk St gays. His gayness was something we learned from a young age was nothing for us to get up in arms over. I think most people with gay family members grow comfortable and even oblivious to how they live their personal lives. It simply doesn’t ruffle my feathers.
Chick Fila makes more money in 6 days than BK does in 7. Have you ever passed by a Chick Fila when there's no cars in the drive-thru? Rarely, if ever happens.
Yet just about all his polices and policy positions were. Go figure.
