The. Why everyone was screaming to close the borders and shutdowns last year? So now illegal immigrants aren’t super spreaders either? I’m not going to blame them anymore then anyone else, because them coming in is because of poor border policies put in by Biden who was supposed to do better. At least those traveling in from other countries were supposed to be tested, but I doubt majority crossing the borders had been tested…

Wait, but we are mandating people to get vaccinated. Isn't that the solution to ending this pandemic?

if it was really a "vaccine", yes

buy since this "shot" doesn't stop the spread of the original covids....this is just your normal run of the mill mutation

Perhaps this may explain it: open Southern border.

Same here, where are the data for the mortality rate for these variants? The CDC has said for those infected the disease the symptoms are characterized as mild and asymptomatic. So much for the panic prone "threat to humanity."

Yeah, I don't understand why that needed to be added to the article title. That's just instilling fear when we really don't know much about the variant yet. Such stupidity!

The thing about trying to provide an excuse why immigration isn't a major problem is, its a huge source of uncontrolled infection thats completely unnecessary !!! The gov. prime directive is to protect its citizens, not infect its citizens !!!

At some point we will need new vaccines for this virus, just like we do with influenza. It's just a question of when.

Israel is already testing a booster shot, the 3rd shot !!! The US might catch up in six months but maybe not if the Biden admin. still wants to use covid as a weapon to control the expendable majority class !!!

How does it get from Peru to Central America?

I keep seeing people in this forum acting like there is some common interchange of human migration from South America to Central America to USA, it makes no sense. This variant came to USA just like all the rest on commercial flights, not from South Americans trekking through dense dangerous jungle to get to Panama.
