Anti-Trumpers love fabricating "facts" to suite their indefensible positions on many issues. And they're completely unapologetic. It's common knowledge that the CV19 vaccine came out during Trump's tenure, but these idiots deny it vehemently. They'd probably claim the sun is cold if Trump said it was hot. I've never seen such widespread cognitive dissonance as we're seeing today. Many of these Dem/liberal nut cases would have been institutionalized 40 years ago. I often wonder if Reagan's dismantling of the mental health system created the current situation. This craziness is completely without precedence in my lifetime.

The American people agree with pulling out of Afghanistan, however President Biden did so in the worst way possible. Heck, we're lucky he gave up a few hours of his vacation. Think about it, we have an existential crisis going on and he goes back to vacationing. Where is our leader?

I hope this will not turn into another repeat of the situation years ago in Vietnam. But let's not forget this situation was brought on by the former president, Donald Trump, who set this up in conjunction with the Taliban.

That critique makes no sense because we left the equipment for the Afghan army to defend itself, which it did not do.
I guarantee you that people would blame Biden for "leaving the Afghan army defenseless" if we left nothing behind for them to fight.
Second, I bet the reason that we didn't evacuate people earlier is because of the signal that would have sent the existing Afghan government that we expected them to lose. In that case, Kabul could have fell even sooner, leading to an even worse situation. That being said, I think that risk was probably worth taking.
In the end, the vast majority of Americans support withdrawal. I fully expect Biden's approval numbers to increase once the dust settles in a month or so.
