This is far from over. Brace yourself.

Which is extremly horrible on his part. They should have evacuated them prior to this whole mess. This whole thing is completely on Biden's hands.

They are not coming down on him hard enough. They need to treat this as if Trump himself was still in office.

No. This is squarly on Biden and how he handled the withdraw. If anyone should be impeached it should be Biden because of his carelessness he has caused a major humanitarian issue. Also with Americans still over there and interpreters and their families....anything happens to them it's ALL on his hands. This is what happens when you put someone who doesn't know history and looks like there is nothing behind his eyes a majority of the time into office.

In complete agreement with you. As stated in my earlier post #13 on the media bias on the other sub-forum:

Yet more liberal bias from Margaret Sullivan, 'journalist' at the Washington Post.

Sullivan criticizes the media coverage blaming Biden for the Afghanistan tragedy and claims that stories are 'nuance-deprived, overstated coverage.'

Sullivan seems astoundingly ignorant of her own delusional propaganda-style spin on Biden and Afghanistan, or on the inherent bias the Post and others have been about Trump, Biden, Anthony Fauci, Critical Race Theory, BLM.

Sullivan may believe her own liberal activists' gaslighting, but that doesn't mean the liberal agenda has the entire United States brainwashed like she is. Other countries are watching and reading this and can see the hypocrisy with the Biden administration and media coverage. The NY Times, Wash Post, etc. are fooling no one except themselves.

Like Nero, Biden fiddles and vacations while Rome burns. Chuck Schumer raps and dances -- ridiculous -- and Kamala Harris conveniently leaves the United States for Singapore and Vietnam. Keep her away from us lowly American patriots and out of the direct sight of the media.

Even the libs know their guy is just not up for the tasks at hand. His behavior and lack of awareness and long absences over the last five days has been very odd. But they'll support him to the bitter end.

The White House said they are not accepting calls.

The US Ambassador to the United Nations did issue a statement today.

“We sent a a very strongly worded message to the Taliban”.

Good enough, I guess as long as the message was VERY strongly worded.
They are all buffoons
I'm not sure the NYT readers and the MSNBC viewers are aware of this.

Even the CNN reporters (who routinely ask Biden what his favorite ice cream is instead of a question that might reveal his issues) seem taken aback.

Well, not really.

While Mr. Chamberlain was duped by Hitler, what he did do is lead a united Britain into WWII.

I don't think that accomplishment can be said here.

When you're dealing with monsters like the Taliban, it's not enough. They should have sent a double-plus very strongly worded, and this time we mean it, message!

Reports on the ground are saying Taliban are not making any trouble for people leaving, even escorting groups of foreign nationals to the airport - all very organized.

"I was surprised. Our 30 vehicle armored convoy got a Taliban escort here," said one man who had reached the airport with colleagues but did not want to be identified discussing a sensitive issue. "They were very organized."
