Doesn't abandoning the equipment a way of disowning it? The Afgan army cut and ran leaving everything behind.

When they did that it's anyone's that finds it and takes it. Too bad it was the Taliban.

This President is a devotee of Article III, Section 3, Clause 1 of the Constitution.Article III, Section 3, Clause 1 states (link):
Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.

And your buddy ole' joe did not have to go along with it, just like he did in many other instances. I mean hell, he even changed the date of this pull out to.....9/11/2021....

The evacuation went exactly as planned. Leaving arms, ammo and money behind for the Taliban was part of the plan.

Biden and Obama could have ended this war, after they got Bin in PAKISTAN. But they enjoyed the nighty entertainment of this war, on CNN.

Afghanistan is now officially under the control of the Taliban. Thanks to Biden's gift of US weapons, they just defeated the last pocket resistance and captured Panjshir, an area the Russians and the Taliban themselves couldn't capture decades ago.

What propaganda media told you that lie?

It wasn't a deal when Obama traded 5 high ranking Taliban members out of Gitmo for Bowe Bergdahl?

Obama didn't negotiate with the Taliban to try to separate them from Al Qaeda and other things?

I think we ought to recognize that it was merely a question of when the Afghan government would fall (and that "when" was only a matter of months at best), then there was no practicable way for any president to keep what had been given to the Afghan government from then falling into Taliban hands.

That was going to happen no matter how the withdrawal was played by any president.

At this point the issue is not that the taliban controls the country. That is fine. Nothing we can do there. Problem is twofold. One we left Americans and Afghans we promised to get out behind. And now private groups are funding missions to sneak out Afghans who want to leave. Very dangerous and the Biden administration is of no help in this. Biden had 8 months to get these folks out. We waited until the last few days to do it and not do it correctly. We left on August 31st without completing what we promised. And before the deadline was Sep 11th, which Biden sped up apparently for optics certainly not because we were totally prepared to leave.

Second. We obviously could not destroy weapons that the Afghan military was still using. But once Kabul fell we should have gotten everyone out, everyone and then bomb all the weaponry. At least all the big stuff and where we knew weapons were stored in large numbers. But we cannot do that because the taliban will go after the people we left behind if we do. So we have armed terrorists with one of the biggest military arsenals in the world.

I would have said the same if Trump did what Biden did. I am not a trumper. But it seems those on the left cannot acknowledge how badly Biden screwed this up. I am sure if this was Trump's mess you would easily see what I am saying.
