Leaders have never failed? Come on. You know better than that.

It would not have mattered who was in the Oval Office when the US left Afghanistan. The entire exercise was doomed to failure from the start.

Old news. The US has faced condemnation for its policies surrounding Afghanistan for more than 40 years.

All presidents have speechwriters and teleprompters. Are you really not aware of this?

The rest of your post was nonsense, but this was downright funny.

Wasting years and lives was inevitable from Day One. Wasting years and lives only would have been prevented by never invading Afghanistan in the first place. GWB went in without an exit strategy, and in 20 years no administration could come up with one that would have a positive outcome for the US. So here we are.
I wonder ... What would your exit strategy have been?

I’m apparently a far leftie in this age of polarization. I don’t support continued involvement in Afghanistan or in other countries’ civil conflicts unless those conflicts directly affect our national interests.

Mr. Biden is going to take heat from all sides on this, but he made the impossible decision for our troops. (What happened to all the “the MSM is fawning over Biden” crowd, btw? Hiding under some rock?)

Oh that's right, you can't. You have NOTHING! No new wars under Trump, and he brokered multiple peace deals in the Middle East. So "ya buddy," much better than the clown who's in office. But hey, no more mean Tweets to hurt that fragile ego of yours, right?
Nope you people keep saying trump had a plan etc. So im going to keep on repeating myself.
multiple peace deals in the Middle East. Funny Hows that working out? Hell they been making peace deals overthere forever.
I bet you think the election was stolen too ugh?

Are you kidding? HOW it was done leaves us looking weak in the eyes of all other countries. Lives have been lost. It was such a stupid tactical mistake that you'd have to be a low-IQ rookie to make it.

And you want to brush off criticism as easy and opportunistic?

Whatever his involvement or support for the war was in the past, he took the decisive action to trigger the withdrawal of troops and personnel.

Criticize his decision? Go right ahead. But he ended our involvement in Afghanistan’s civil conflict and that is a reality that no outrage, fabricated or not, can ever alter.

Will he take responsibility for the innocent people who die in terrorist attacks over the next weeks, months, and years. That blood will be on Biden's hands.

TALIBAN THREAT General Milley warns of terror threats to US homeland after Afghanistan falls to Taliban & US ambassador flees Kabul

JOINT Chiefs of Staff chair Mark Milley warned of an increased threat of terror attacks on US soil after Afghanistan fell to the Taliban on Sunday, according to a new report.

Milley told a bipartisan group of Senators on a call earlier today that the Islamist outfit captured the country far quicker than President Joe Biden and other top military leaders had anticipated, Axios reported.
The United States has been in Afghanistan for twenty years, so if you want to blame a President, blame GW. It was HIS debacle that had us running after Weapons of Mass Destruction (a proven myth), embarrassing US in the eyes of the world.

And, do you think anything that could be accomplished would've been by now? Don't you think we have better things to do than occupy countries other than our own?

The whole mess in the Middle East does only one thing: funnel massive amounts of capital to weapon's manufacturers and military contractors.
