Why the deflection to Nostradamus? Biden* himself said we'll probably be at war soon with a major power.

Soooo, that means you'll be one of the first to sign up to fight Biden's* wars? Or just more deflection on your part?

It's not a deflection. You can't say he's a drooling moron in one breath and then in the next say his comment about a "shooting war" is an iron-clad guarantee of the future in the next. It's simply not reasonable. It makes no sense. If you don't understand the link between predicting the future and Nostradamus, feel free to Google it.

My enlistment ended quite a while ago, how about yours? Talk about deflections....

There's no evidence Biden deviated from any suggested withdrawal plan from the Pentagon, either. It's a ****show. I'm just not convinced the President is the root cause, yet.

I've already said that Biden owns this multiple times, but here's one more in the hopes that it will satisfy you.

That's just what we know of right now. I'm sure more info. will be forthcoming. I don't believe our military's leaders are dumb enough to do what they did over there without orders from above requiring it. Any of our officers would know enough you don't pull out the troops first and then try to evacuate civilians and equipment, relying on the enemy being kind enough to allow it.

Trump no doubt would have had the military doing what it knows best over there for the pullout. Pulling out in the off season would be far safer. He is also not the kind of person who would have cowered in a corner when things went awry and the taliban broke their side of the agreement. Our president needs to be someone who is willing to shake a stick at the bullies of the world, not be some "nice" person they can push around.

You need to look beyond the government of Afghanistan for impacts. 20 years worth of A-Q terrorist prisoners have been released from prisons over there. They have weapons and equipment now they never had before. That stuff will see use against us or our allies in that entire region and likely beyond. No doubt China or Russia may pay them to study the captured equipment.

Elsewhere in the world China is taunting us saying that if they go into Taiwan, we won't stop them. China and other enemies see we are at our weakest point since WWII and are going to take advantage of it. No crystal ball needed. Study history, read international news to see what's happening. China is adopting an aggressive expansionist stance. It's the 1930's all over again in some respects. We may well be on the verge of WWIII with an incompetent, senile old man in our Oval Office. What we just told the world in Afghanistan is that if you help us, we will run and leave you to the wolves at some point. We do not have the backs of our friends. You seem to not understand the consequences for us of violating this trust alone.
Very well said, except, it was Biden* who had broken the agreement.

Here's some news that Biden and his supporters can be proud of:

Quote:
Taliban fighters shot and killed a woman for not wearing a burqa in Afghanistan on Tuesday — the same day the group pledged to usher in a new inclusive era in the country that honors “women’s rights.”

A photo emerged of a woman in Takhar province lying in a pool of blood, with loved ones crouched around her, after she was killed by insurgents for being in public without a head covering, according to Fox News.

The killing came amid the group’s version of a charm offensive, after its swift takeover of the country in the absence of US troops, who had been propping up allied military groups since shortly after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.

Tell me again how Democrats are the party of women's rights.

Even though his mind is going, which had been known before the vote ... he is the one in power, no? He has access to a certain button, right?
Oh wait, you think he does nothing but sit in the corner and drool?

The CNN lady wearing a burka that said the Taliban were nice apparently had to wear a burka or be beaten/murdered.

Taliban loves getting the propaganda out on CNN.

Perhaps they would have fought more had Biden not crippled their air force. We knew their forces were poorly trained and the big advantage they had over the Taliban was the air that couldn't be maintained due to Biden blocking foreign contractors. Perhaps Biden could have got more people out beforehand, but he was too busy saying getting out was 100% his and that it would go well.

There are now reports that Biden was repeatedly warned of a potential of a rapid collapse and ignored it while telling the country that no one could have seen it coming. CYA for his bad choices.

Yes.

The Buck stops at the top, and it was his job to plan well for ANY and ALL contingencies.

Instead, he gave the Taliban the best gift they could ever wish for.

Reports from LA newspapers stated btw China is posting opinion pieces saying the USA cannot be trusted as an ally, and IMO, we gave the world every reason to believe China on that point.
