I don’t think this is relevant to this case.
The woman died due to cancer-related complications and the OP’s link says nothing about her having contracted Covid.
I do wonder, though, if the point of this thread is to point out some sort of “karma” for her having chided people to get vaccinated.
Brother in law, early 60’s, died within days of being admitted via the ER. Within 24 hours it was determined he was experiencing multiple organ failure attributed to Cancer. He was unaware he had Cancer.
( This was years before Covid / vaccine)
As it relates to Ms Heisler, the family chose to disclose her death was due to Cancer related complications.
I choose to respect this.
Their likely won't be an autopsy then. Weird how the night before complete organ failure she was on twitter ranting about the unvaccinated.
Glad you had an easy time with it/ Have a lnon-vaccinated friend who is still feeling sick six weeks into the whole thing.....I'm sure he will be okay.....
But this article isn't about having the vaccine and getting COVID.
The woman did have the third jab but is that why she was feeling sick? Sure anti-vaxxers will think it is connected but I think the core of the story is that COVID patients have overrun the hospitals in Florida and non-COVID patients are getting substandard care and some are dying. I have a good friend whose father in law had a minor infection but was tossed around from hospitals to long term care facilities to home because of an overburdened healthcare system that had not room or resources for him. He died.
This woman wasn't feeling well -- we have no clue if it was related to the jab or not. Point is -- she couldn't get care because of COVID patients overburdening the system.
End of story.
Thank you for making this point.
This has been happening for the past 18 months on a rolling basis throughout the 4-5 Covid surges.
There are about 7250 hospitals in the US. Not all have ERs or ICUs. Not all have been overwhelmed with Covid, let alone at the same time.
The highly regarded Orlando Regional Medical Hospital is a level one trauma center. It was sufficiently overwhelmed with incoming patients, it had to divert incoming patients, according to Ms Heisler’s tweets.
According to her twitter..... She said she was going to a cardiologist ? Looks like you had heart problems from the first doses... Then get 3rd shot and die?
She could have had heart problems before the first shot. She may have been going to the hospital for that but most hospitals are so booked up with covid that they let other people wait.
Karen Croake Heisler, a former film, television and theatre (FTT) professional specialist and internship coordinator, died Sunday due to cancer-related complications, according to the South Bend Tribune. She was 67.
Noting about COVID
I don't think anyone is claiming she had covid. The suspicion is she died of heart related issued due to the vaccine. But now that cancer enters the picture, I doubt there will be an autopsy so no one will ever know.
Being "vaxxed" was supposed to stop covid 19 in its tracks and we were supposed to reach herd immunity at some point.
Hasn't happened, even though you'll try to dance around the issue.
And then the Delta variant emerged amongst the 1.4 billion unvaccinated people in India during the 4 th quarter, 2020. It quickly spread to the rest of the world.
There was never certainty about herd immunity. Delta made it less certain.
