That's my guess because as 'progressive' as they claim to be their 'not in my backyard syndrome' will flaire up when it comes to cleaning up the consequences of their desires and policies.
Many states/areas of the country still can't even recycle more than 50% of the plastic they take in so how are they going to expand or upgrade to toxic batteries en masse?
Our recycler no longer takes plastic. Thy say there is no market for it.
So no RV generators. Oh wait, I can just replace my $800 gas generator with $30,000 worth of solar and still have no air conditioning or lights or fridge on cloudy days. Now THAT'S progress!
You can if you spend another $30K on two Tesla Powerwalls to store that solar and give you A/C and run your fridge. No idea what it will cost you to replace them in ~10 years though. Isn't this progress??
