I'll repeat what I said in the Current Events thread on this subject:
A plane crash is a tragedy. A young kid drowning is a tragedy. Someone killed in a construction accident is a tragedy.
This is not a "tragedy," it's a straight-up criminal act by someone steeped in hatred and evil.
9/11 was a tragedy, wouldn't you say? I fail to see why it's not a tragedy when committed by a criminal. I mean, here is the definition, copy and pasted, first thing that shows up on a google search...
tragedy: an event causing great suffering, destruction, and distress, such as a serious accident, crime, or natural catastrophe.
Seems crimes are the very definition of a tragedy when there is a victim, especially when they lost their life. In this tragedy, multiple people lost their lives from what I understand.
I've always avoided crowds. Now the SUV attack on the Wisconsin Christmas parade has strengthened my resolve
Seriously, it's just not worth it or fun anymore. I guess this is the society they've been trying to create. I blame the MSM first and foremost for what's going on in this country.
Terrible timing for CNN. They just ran a headline yesterday that angry white men are what we must fear most in America I suspect some weak minded folks are taking their bait unfortunately. They only run those sensationalized over the top headlines to get clicks, views, and ratings because the boring stuff doesn't interest anyone. But is it really worth it and all the trouble that follows?
Crowds? Yep, I've been avoiding them ever since a guy took a leak on the concert aisle at Red Rocks. Splattered all over me. Though not tragic, it make me realize you have no control over what goes on in a crowd.
They have no standards. They’re report anything that makes them money, and folks lap it up because they’re clueless and let the media think for them.
I’d wager his music will be more popular than ever now.
Only because more people will be exposed to it. Maybe a few will latch on to it, but I doubt it would catch in. He will certainly be forgotten about in the not too distant future, when he is tossed in jail for perhaps the rest of his life. Does anyone remember Steady D anymore, another rapper who was involved in a murder?
This vermin will only be known for his heinous act. Most people will probably not ever hear his terrible sound, and those that do will mostly hate it because it sucks, and it will be connected with this despicable crime.
