Everywhere the climate alarmists claim the sea level is rising is near large cities: Miami, New York City and Boston to name just a few. In Boston the area of the city with the newest developments is the seaport district. They have demolished many older, low-rise, warehouse type developments and replaced it all with large, super-heavy, concrete highrises. The believers in climate change assume the water level is rising but I wonder if the land is compacting as heavier, denser, seaside development puts immense weight on the coastal bedrock? This type of development is happening in almost all coastal cities.

That is my hypothesis. I would be flattered if some geologists and engineers take it and run with it.

False disinformation. National Geographic is a more honest and reliable source, wouldn't you agree?

"However, more recent analyses, dating back decades, have found that many of even the earliest models were remarkably accurate in their predictions of global temperature increases. Now, as computing power increases and more and more refinements are added to modeling inputs, modelers are more confident in defending their work.

A model from 1970 predicted "global temperatures would increase by 0.57 degrees Celsius (1.03 degrees Fahrenheit) between 1970 and 2000. The actual recorded warming was a remarkably close 0.54°C (0.97°F)."

Fake news. Even the global warming religion admitted that all early computer models were wrong.

so they go back 50 years and out of all the climate models.... pick the one that was the closest

"A" model predicted......and 50 models didn't.....LOL

I mean honest to God...who's stupid enough to fall for that?

The worst part of this is the melting at the poles more recently Antarctica although the Arctic is worse. We didn't need 2021 to prove that climate change is real, it's been happening for decades but if this year didn't get your attention nothing will.

It's always amusing when people call NASA and other respected scientists part of a religion, sounds backwards since some republicans think only god can change the climate.

The Year in Climate (good summary from ABC News)

How many more people have to die and how many more people have to lose their homes before we finally unite and agree that climate change is a very serious threat to all of us?
Maybe next year.
