The climate changes.
Yes indeed. Climate changes, especially when we pump billions of tons of CO2 into the atmosphere. If on has a look at previous warming periods, one sees that those warming periods are always associated with an increase in CO2. Yes, I know the CO2 followed the temperature rise - that's because the CO2 was not the primary cause. It was however, an accentuating factor.

You mention 'changing for Millions of years'. Exactly. Millions of years. Here we are talking decades of years. OK, make it a hundred and fifty years. The planet has warmed more in the last 150 years than what it cooled in the previous 7000 years. Look at the blue line.

That is the real question! They go on about stuff that will at best achieve little to nothing and at worst will make matters worse. Notice how nothing is being said about global destruction of rain forests? OK, admittedly, rain forests can only remove so much CO2 from the atmosphere but destroying those forest not only removes that small CO2 sink but adds the sunk CO2 back into the atmosphere! Even so, those rain forests that are being ignored have a far bigger impact than the stuff they are harping about.

1. "record" in only the RECORDED RECORD (ie last 150 years)

2. climate change is very real...and very natural....

3. NOTHING can be done to stop the interglacial warming...that is what happens during an interglacial period.

4. NOTHING can be done to slow (actually there is one thing...massive smog/smoke to prevent the sun from do its thing) the warming

5. NOTHING can be done to erase the FACT that once we hit about 74'f (global daily average)(the point that EVERY interglacial period has peaked/ended) we will start going into a glacial period...(scientific estimates are in 15k-20k years)

6. the ONLY thing we can do is mitigate the "damage" by not building at below sea-level grade, and things like that

Various cities that border the bay waters within the San Francisco Bay Area have built sea walls long their coastal borders because they claim (and fear) the seas are rising because global warming is melting the icebergs.

There are roughly 9 super high volume sewage plants that pump out treated sewage throughout the entire San Francisco Bay Area. The fact is, the San Francisco Bay is filling up with treated sewage (sludge). Just one example is, there are multiple story apartment complexes being built everywhere you look in the San Francisco Bay Area. Each complex consists of at least 140 units. Each unit has at least one toilet, and in some cases even up to two. On average a toilet is flushed at least 10 times per day. Multiply that with the amount of toilets. If they were really concerned with environmental impact, they'd stop building all of these massive apartment complexes throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. It's at an epidemic level.

So the coastal water isn't rising from icebergs melting. The bay is filling up with treated sewage sludge (spent toilet paper & treated human waste) . Every day (24/7 395 days a year) there's got to be several hundred tons of it going through the sewage system, to the treatment facilities, treated and then released into the San Francisco Bay. That's the real deal, not some wackjob global whining icebergs melting in the north pole and now causing coastal waters in the San Francisco Bay area to rise, and the sky is falling bs.

Such lunacy. Here is a common statement in real scientific endeavors which the global warming crowd should take to heart:

"The accumulation of anecdotes does not constitute data".

For every BS anecdote you site, I can produce four more refuting your contention. That is why actual science uses randomized, double blinded, prospective studies with a valid control group and valid statistics to draw actual conclusions.

"Global warming" is the opposite of actual science- it is a cult.

Worth highlighting the part where some "experts" attempted to silence, even kill, their rivals.

Humans are humans first and foremost, no matter what mask they wear.

The earth is a violent planet, always has been, from its origins. The climate changes as part of the earth's history, always has.

So just what about this proves it's manmade? And how will contributing carbon taxes to the Powers that Be change all this?

CO2 also followed the temperature fall.........

temps rose first...then CO2

...temps fell first....then CO2

Doesn't matter.....China is our God now...and for the past 50 years....all of the increase in CO2 has come...directly or indirectly....from China

China gets a free pass on everything....

That is the thing. The last 100/150 years have been unusually mild, stable, and calm. We just got lucky. But it is all people know, so they see climate becoming more volatile and they think that is unusual and need a boogeyman to explain it. Actually, we are just returning to a more typical climate.

I like this post. I don’t admit to being an environmentalist these days because I don’t want to be confused with the nutty “warmers.” But you raise real environmental concerns. My state government forces rural areas to let builders tear up all the undeveloped land to build housing complexes but charges a tax on gas because my fuel-efficient car is somehow destroying the earth. Honestly, sometimes I think the global warming thing is used in part to get people to ignore real environmental issues - many of which are caused by builders and other politically connected businesses. I’ve been hearing about the great flood since the late 80s. I lived in Jersey City for a time. There are spots in JC and Hoboken where the water in the bay comes right up to the concrete wall at high tide. I thought for sure it would have flooded by now. But it’s still at that same spot. I might have more faith in the warmers if any of their predictions came true in the past 30 plus years.

But the funny part is that this same bunch 15 years ago would tell you that climate change is a myth in and of itself. Now they admit that it is happening but that it is "natural"....LOL.
Typical leftist wrapping himself in science while ignorant of its most basic principle. You give yourself away with your language. There is no believing in scientists or science. Neither should be believed because science is the antithesis of belief. If you had any passing familiarity you would never have said such a cringey thing. I know you guys love to believe in things. Hell your whole herd-think thing is one huge belief system but leave that stuff at the door, if you can, before you try to pose on the pillar of science.
