Absofreakinglutely they're moving the goalposts again. We're fighting a war. You think you can win a war without reacting to your enemy's movements?
The only people who think this is a war are the dweebs in lab coats in DC who have their heads so far up their own asses it's coming out of their mouths again. Three losing wars against Vietnam, Poverty and Drugs wasn't enough for the Feds to learn their lesson?
I don't think anyone knows what the science is right now.
Actually they know a hell of a lot about the science. They've created vaccines, didn't they? But here's the thing. Nature isn't predicable in any reliable way. It will morph and change shape in an infinite amount of ways. All scientists can do is try to identify the bounds and react to changes within them. There are a lot of problems in the world that are like this. Climate change and weather -- neither of which are reliably predictable because of the sheer number of parameters and an infinite way they can react. They use Monte Carlo simulations for modeling these processes which is a fancy way of saying one of the parameters to the equation is a random number. Pure fuzzy chance. So you plan for the range of eventualities you can envision and hopefully react quickly to them. And that's where we are with Covid. We know a hell of a lot about the biology of the virus and do our best to react to it. But so much of it comes down to chance. No one can predict it perfectly and anyone who says they can is a liar.

Then what you're saying is that True Science is history. I disagree. Science is learning and applying knowledge leading to more learning. It's a continuum.
One day, it's going to either be an RFID chip or a mark on the head or hand so people know you got the vaccine and all it's boosters. Refuse and the mark will be mutilated and you will be forced into exile.

This pandemic is far from over. I do agree we are all done with it but it's not done with us. We have no say.
And just to nite, within last week, the cdc announced they overestimated percent of cv cases in US being omicron. It isn't 72% as recently stated but 27%. So the Regeneron is still useful for existing Delta. And Omicron is known to be mild, so Regeneron should not have been stopped.
Add this to the ever burgeoning list of 'conspiracy theories' that have proven to be correct.
