Only question I have is... what took so long?

Kudos to Mayo Clinic for doing the right thing. Proof of having had numerous FDA approved vaccinations have always been a condition of employment there. You don't like the rules at your job? Find the nearest door with an EXIT sign over it.

For those who support this, don’t complain about long waits, lower quality of care or a lack of hospital beds due to staffing shortages.

We should be asking, "Why are these people refusing to get the Covid-19 therapeutic?"

They'll just turn around and blame people for not wearing masks.

Today: Oh but that is only 1% of their employees that didn't already quit before they were fired.

Next Up: Mayo Clinic calls on the Government to send National Guard members to fill critical positions due to staffing shortages...

Mayo Clinic employs 73,000 employees across multiple states. Not all employed or terminated are clinical.

Do the math, 700/ 73,000.

Those terminated for cause are not eligible for unemployment benefits.

Imagine the clinical employees will be challenged to find comparable employment, right now.

Courts have upheld employer’s right to require vaccines and terminate those who choose to not comply.

I am a long time on again/ off again volunteer at local hospitals. As such, I have been required to have a variety of vaccines to volunteer. No exceptions. The Covid vaccine is only the latest.

......on top of already existing staffing shortages.
Don't ignore that part.

And all of those other vaccines have all had long-term studies completed on them. There is a difference between the Covid-19 therapeutic and the polio vaccine.

So they've change the job terms to now require a non-approved vaccine.
