You are forgetting how DeSantis protected the elderly people in LTC facilities while other governors recklessly sent Covid infected patients into those facilities.

I remember from another thread that you had a bad experience trying to get the vaccine for your mom but, if I recall correctly, you also went to the distribution site on the very first day that the vaccinations were being offered and it was a bit of a madhouse, as would be expected given the high demand for the vaccine. DeSantis had put the hospitals in charge of the distribution of the vaccines and there were some bugs to iron out in the process.

For my mom, she waited a few weeks for the initial frenzy to die down and was able to get vaccinated right there at her Independent Living facility - could not have been easier. She and her friends are now on the same vax schedule which is nice.

DeSantis is not going to be voted out. He is one of the best loved governors in this country and people are literally moving to Florida because of DeSantis.

:
By banning mask mandates in both K-12 and higher ed he has done exactly that. I know multiple professors who left teaching in Florida over that because they had other health issues and the school is now discovering that it’s far harder to find people who want to teach in Florida than it used to be. K-12 is in even worse shape because not enough teachers are willing to put themselves into a no mask zone and districts by me are having to increase sub pay by 50% in order to get a warm adult body in the room.

I suspect that DeSahtis pushed to get rid of high stakes testing for good in K-12 because it would show student success is cratering because of his failed education policies.

Florida isn't the only free state, but yes, they deserve credit for rejecting the fear porn pushed by the far left.

Everything? So I guess you think our military is worthless. How about the fire department? Surely you don't think firefighters are worthless...

As a veteran, I can speak about this. The military is not a producer of anything. The military is about meting out death and destruction. It is a consumer but never a producer.

Firefighters and police depts are always local which mean the smaller the government, the better it is.

There, I fixed it for you ...

The man is shameless and corrupt.
Say what you want. DeSantis is doing very well here in Florida. We live in a free state. We do not have left wing idiots telling us what we can and can not do. I will take DeSantis any day over whoever runs the state your in!!!

If you had looked at the video...it's even the title....." DeSantis administration trying to cut back on COVID testing lines"
Why he sat on a million tests. You don’t know the Governor very well. He wants covid not to be spoken about , if he could have his way. If we don’t talk about it - it s not a problem. His accomplice is in trouble with the county board, for when they rigged the distribution of the vax last year for his rich mates. Yup. You don’t know the Governor.
