The link I shared also included his video about halfway down the page. Maybe you'll feel less triggered by the NY Post who posted much the same thing as the link in my other post.
Well those are nice words, but it does not change the fact that the damage is already done. Plus, since Rogan now has zero credibility, who is going to believe he is sincere?
Anyone that gives someone like Alex Jones a megaphone is going to get some pushback from rational people. Rational people vote with their wallets - which Spotify is learning the hard way.
Hasn't been at the forefront but this has been simmering for well over a year. Spotify was also getting a lot of heat about Rogan from inside their organization, so it's not just consumers.
Spotify has always been one of the weaker streaming services not just because they are hosting disinformation peddlers, but because the features and performance of their product was abysmal. This is why I dumped them a couple of years ago.
I can’t imagine calling for censorship of dissenting views. Rogan has won, that is why mainstream media wants him shutdown. Apple and Amazon would be happy if Spotify pulled him because they will benefit. The far left base is just being used to go along with it all in favor of big pharma, corporate media that want to control all narrative, and big tech. Far left is on the wrong side of history, they are pushing for a world of darkness and a population in complete control of the ruling elite.
Liberals, you know this is wrong deep down. Standing for free speech isn’t standing FOR the right, it’s standing for putting power in the hands of the people.
Spotify CAN become the strongest platform in the world if they had a CEO that went for it. Double down on free speech, offer Russell Brand a massive deal, push even harder for free thought and expression, the people will follow with their money and support.
The key is he talked about different opinions and noted that he had CNNs Gupta on and Biden advisor.
But this 'misinformation' term is being tossed around like a salad leaves no room for detail or context. These artists are crying disinformation but fail to cite some examples & detail. Have to wonder if they are doing the administration a favor rather than noting their displeasure.

I have and will continue to despise Neil Young and his music. He ranks right up there with others that despite a serious lack of any real talent managed to be popular via representing a lifestyle. Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson come to mind thataway. A popular image but the music actually sucks. My opinion. Anyone can disagree with no argument from me. (shrug) Neil Young could have fallen overboard from a ship in the Marianas trench 30 years ago and I wouldn't have even said oh well.
Yeah sure, so is Ozzy Osbourne and Metallica and 1,000's of popular artists. I thought the goal of artists was to be heard in as many platforms they can, not to lecture about medical choices and lose platforms. but it's a free world, keep on rocking in the free world.
Young lectured no one. He announced his intentions, and that was all.
It's still a free country. He can say what he wants as much as you or I.
And so far, no one has lost a platform. He quit on his own, an Rogan is still on Spotify.
