Maybe they are smart enough to not fall for the PT Barnum of the 21st Century Circus Train and don't want to join the clown car parade. Kool Aid comes in a lot of flavors and those in the circus have been swilling it pretty hard...
This is how I view this. I am afraid of reporting on this. The individuals going out there and attacking people need to be locked up and treated like the violent criminals they are.
I'm not saying that the media shouldn't report on this. I'm saying that I am afraid. I have wondered what would happen if more of these crimes kept getting reported on in the media and referred to as Black violence. I am afraid because that is much more of a burden I have to deal with.
This is why I don't like to discuss this. When it comes to crime among Black criminals, it gets sticky. I know there are some individuals who distrust Blacks and are quite angry with Black people (but most who feel this way won't flat out say so). I am careful about who I discuss this with because I don't want to deal with someone who would use this as an opportunity to vent their own anti-Black animus/attitudes. I've been around individuals who have come out said "I'm sick of Black/majority of them are ghetto". I can't think of any reason why I would want to have this discussion with people who have anti-Black attitudes and would take it out on me.
It's not that I don't think we shouldn't have this discussion. I'm not saying we should not talk about violence going on. I talk about it myself. You can look up my posts. I've been a victim of Black on Black violence myself (in a suburban, predominantly White neighborhood of all places). I am just saying that when it comes to discussing violence and in particular, that being perpetrated by Black underclass criminal types, it gets sticky. I have to consider what someone's intentions are. I have to consider that some people use these incidents as a cautionary "avoid Black people. They are a menace to society". That is something I cannot deal with.
Wow. I'll just say what I think. I'm in favor of personal responsibility. However, the only thing I can get out of this is an animus towards Blacks. And if this is the case, answer this for me.
When if comes to social issues like this, why should I have any dialogue with those who have an animus towards/sick of Black people? What benefit would come from it?
Who Murdered All The Asian Women—And Who’s Covering It Up?
Why is so much Violence against Asians not being Reported by Main-stream Media? Black-on-Asian violence is a bloody reality. According to the federal Bureau of Justice Statistics criminal victimization report published in 2019, 182,230 Asians in America were victims of violent crime in 2018. Black offenders were the perpetrators in a whopping 27.5% of those cases—the highest of any racial group. Given that black Americans make up only 12% of the population, that means black offenders on a per capita basis commit more than five times as many violent attacks on Asians as whites or Hispanics.
THOSE STATS are from 2018...i'm CERTAIN that 2020 will be 'Way Worse'...so the Question is Why?
Why are Blacks targeting Asians to Commit Crime...and WHY IS THE MEDIA Not Reporting it?
Thoughts / Comments ?
The only thing I find is the MSM reports on Asians being attacked but fail to mention the majority of attacks against Asians are committed by blacks or other Asians groups.

Just the act of talking about it summons defensive or contrarian rants based on leaps and presupposed positions. And just call attention to it. Inviting anger.
Can we not just look at it as another violent act on a human?
And go after the people in charge to do something about it?
I am not asking them to 'change people's minds' or 'force diversity' through fiat.
Just make the streets safe.
Pub or Dem, that position holds responsibility to govern our safety as a citizen.
We need to disconnect that from Elephant or Donkey.
Everyone should be mad that people are getting killed, beaten, pushed onto subway tracks, looted, or abused by cops.
Pointing to a race does nothing when the people in charge don't take action. They won't take action,..
..they are having a grand time watching us point at each other.

I'm sure you will see a large demographic shift from Asian populations voting less for Democrats than in the past. After all with Democrats and the media screaming "White Supremacy" when almost every attack or murder on Asian people over the last year has not involved even one White supremist, or even a crazy white person, it doesn't take genius to determine whose lying.
At the very least, I wouldn't have even heard about some of this going on if not for coming to city-data. Apart from an occasional listen on NPR, I rarely watch the news. Not even Asian people that I personally know are talking about this much.
If I found out about this on my own without coming to this site, one reactions I would have is embarrassment, empathy for the victim (s). Finding out here, it comes with it also comes with "oh great. I wonder how many people want to talk about how bad Black people are".

yeah I understand.
I moved in with my fiance two years ago when Covid became a pandemic in the U.S. Safety is never a concern for me.
Your second bold, I know a few Asians and I don't think they really believe black people are bad. I think most sane people know that there are bad apples in every race.
I also agree with the poster above who said politicians cannot and won't make the street safer for all of us.
Tough situation.
