The "Joe Biden is weak" talking point is stupid.

It doesn't matter how weak or strong a US president appears to be, the US cannot stop Russia or China from exercising military power in their own backyards. We are not the only superpower on the planet anymore. By the time the U.S. tried to mobilize our forces near Ukraine or Taiwan, the invading forces will be nearly complete in their work. Ukraine or Taiwan will fall before we get there.

Conservatives seems to think the US can snap its fingers and other nations will oblige and heel. Those days are long gone. There is much more military parity in the world now.

No, there is not. Militarily speaking, the US is supreme. And I do not use that word lightly. Remove the nuclear options and no one can take on US, not even China.

Right. They conquer nations a piece at a time instead, as Russia is doing to Ukraine (first Crimea in 2014, now Donbas in 2022)... and then they lie about it (the troops are going in only as "peacekeepers" ), to ward off people like Zhoe Biden and give them the excuse the desperately want to not have to confront the aggressive nation.

There is nothing to think of Biden. He's just a clerk.
China WILL reunite Taiwan to the Motherland. This been in works since 1949 and NOTHING will stop that from happening. Nothing. It is one people, one blood, one womb.

It will be done peacefully and without any bloodshed. China will not shed any blood of its own children.

To be honest, it is not up to the USA, to decide such matters.

We ended up with nothing and Putin got everything.

So what happened?

1. Biden and Harris have shown again they are complete fools in foreign policy
2. Putin looks stronger and more competent
3. NATO looks weak in the eyes of the world
4. Nations adjacent to Russia know there is no protection from them and are at the mercy of Russia.

So who has learned the most form this disaster? CHINA

By bungling another foreign policy disaster, the US has essentially given China the green light to invade Taiwan. Appeasement, as Chamberlain found prior to WW2, only emboldens tyrants and never satiates them.
Exactly what did Putin get? Donbas was already crawling with Russian military. He hasn’t gotten anything he didn’t already have. And no, Ukraine could not be immediately admitted to NATO under rules of the organization.

Where in the world do you get this malarkey?

Tian An Men Square uprisings ring a bell? It didn't just happen there, it happened in many places in China, and China declared Martial Law, brought in a few hundred thousand troops, and deliberately killed thousands of "its own children".

Stop embarrassing yourself.

I think the OP should be asking himself a different question: What would he like Biden to do if China were to invade Taiwan?

Well, right. Does anyone on this forum, liberal or conservative, think that we should commit ground troops to Ukraine? Bomb Moscow? It’s not a matter of if we’re powerful enough to defeat Russia. Does anyone think Ukraine is worth losing thousands of American lives, and risking nuclear war?

He means there are countries like China and Russia that can give us a bloody noise. Ya we will win a war against them but at what cost? A few aircraft carriers?
