The 2nd Amendment was designed for situations exactly as those being faced in Ukraine. Tyrants want the population to be disarmed so that they are easier to control.
It is not surprising that liberals, who are totalitarians at heart, support the very same measures as other fascists in wanting to disarm and weaken the population.
If Putin is successful in taking Ukraine, the very first thing he will do is to INITIATE GUN CONTROL. Such measures are the actions of tyrants who fear the people.

I'd say most of the folks on here are more in fear of their own democratic government than a foreign power...hence all the support for marching on Washington and wreaking havoc.
Whether its defense from another nationality that hates your way of life, or a class of people within your country that hates your way of life, the need to posses weapons for use against them is the same.

Every freaking day, someone here thinks they can they can classify a whole group of people with a few trite words. They seem to think it makes them look smart or superior or something. Or they think they can further divide the country by claiming "the other half" is out to get them. If the goal is to divide the country, then get the hell out.

America has been invaded by a foreign power four times in its history- Revolution, war of 1812, Mexico in 1916, and WW2 by the Japanese in Alaska. Biden has opened the border to anyone who wants to come in. Do you really think that they are all honest, hard working people?
Now America is invaded by liberalism, which is trying to destroy the nation from within.

Most leaders of the Democratic party, liberals, have promised to take away the right to own guns. That is why people usually just say liberals.
