No, it will be permanently established. We'll be one hour wrong compared to the rest of the world
Not an issue …. We don’t share the same time with the rest of the world anyway …. Hell, there is a three hour difference between New York and Los Angeles, and three different time zones between the coasts.
A. There is no "saving" of daylight, forcing everyone to move clocks ahead.
B. The whole notion of "high noon" (sun at its zenith, more or less) would be "high one". Midnight would be "Mid one".
C. It shows how utterly useless and incompetent the Senate is, wasting time and energy on such rubbish.
The healthiest thing is to always wake up before sunrise and never sleep during times of daylight.
In the summer, even with DST, I'd be waking up before 4:30 a.m. No thank you.

We need it more at 9 p.m. (not 10 p.m. - twilight ends in Philly a few minutes after 9 at the summer solstice with DST) than we do at 4 a.m., which is what would happen if we were on standard time year round.

It's important to you. It's not important to me. My geographic region having daylight later in the day is important to me. It's not important to you. See how that works?
