He doesn't use cloth masks and provides a proper mask to all patients.

This is so true.

And not only locked down homes and businesses, but destroyed many lives in the process. Restaurants closed up. Shops gone under. Homes lost.

The worst damage is yet to be seen. What we have done to kids in the name of "safety" is pure evil. They've lost years of their lives, developmentally, socially and physically, for absolutely no reason. Unless you count teachers unions' paranoia and control as a reason. In the meantime, suicides and drug use is rampant in kids. I guess "if it saves just one person" only counts if you're a terrified covidian.

I’d find a new doctor. Patient=client. Doctor should accommodate the comfort of his clients. If he’s too entitled then find a better one.

No, I am not afraid. I got vaccinated (got the booster and no more) to be able to carry on my life. There are inherent risks, known and unknown, that we face everyday. I will not live in fear or walk around struggling to breathe as my asthma has been greatly aggravated by the reduced air flow caused by constantly wearing a mask, especially in the heat, for nearly 2 years.

I have lost confidence in the messages being told to us. There is a lack of objectivity on both sides as there are a number of obvious self-serving political, financial, and social agendas taking place under the guise of "protecting the people."

Yes, that is really the big problem. I think what bothers me more is the constant switching on and off of the mask mandates, which I'm getting tired of. If we have to keep switching mandates on and off, then that means our leaders don't know what they are doing and are acting prematurely. And I just wanted to be sure we are not acting prematurely again. I don't want to be in the same position as last year where I comfortably took off my mask thinking this was all behind us and then having to be forced to slap the mask back on again. That's just silly, in my opinion. Either the pandemic is over or it's not and we can't keep going back and forth on the mask thing.

Yup. I switched dentists over mask insanity.

I was surprised that my dentist office didn’t require masks which makes sense since they work on the mouth, the dentist said assistants do, but not the reception area or patients.

We have family in a part of California which is crazy about masks. Our 2-year-old grandson is now being referred to a specialist as his doctor feels that his social/psychological development has already been severely affected by the fact that he's hardly seen anybody's full face outside of his own home.

I switched dentists because mine was AWOL during the pandemic and I wanted a teeth whitening. I found one, and in the middle of the pandemic (April 2020) did the teeth whitening and cleaning without masks.

I'm sure that some of them don't know what they're doing and follow whatever some supposed higher power says. But I'm certain that some of them know exactly what they're doing. Part of the plan to control people involves the deliberate creation of confusion by having constantly changing rules.
